She books her Nutcracker tickets in July, her holiday jazz evenings in August. Her garland is hung in September and Hallmark Christmas movies play year round with little breaks for a bit of Old Hollywood films featuring the likes of Ingrid Bergman, Lauren Bacall, and Grace Kelly. She loves mercury glass and champagne flutes and just about every Christmas song ever sung. She dreams of nights in by the fire in a sequined dress because she cancelled her plans and decided to stay in. But who could blame her?
