Set in the Midwest where the family runs a Supper Club, this book bounces back and forth between the past and present exploring family dynamics, tragedy, traditions and choosing between family expectations and your own dreams. This was not a “light” read as one character faces a lot of heartache + pain. I enjoyed the character development, setting and made me want to go to a supper club!
