This morning I was full on ugly crying as soon as my husband pulled away. Tonight I’m on a plane to live my best life in Greece. Same day. Same woman. Completely different nervous system. This is my kind of motherhood. The mom who’s going to miss her kids desperately for the next 7 weeks, and the mom who’s about to have the time of her life as a first time “empty nester.” Both things are true and I’m not choosing.
