Did you know that the Hollywood sign was originally supposed to be temporary? It was built in 1923 as an ad for the Hollywoodland real estate development and was only supposed to last about a year and a half.⁠⠀

The first time we visited LA (circa 2010) the Hollywood Sign was actually covered in a protest to save it. Swipe to see it, pulled out of the family archives 👉👉👉⁠⠀

New York City. The home I haven't seen in almost 4 months.🗽⁠

BUT THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE! In 2 days, I'm heading back! It's a bittersweet reunion because I'm moving out of my first big-girl apartment. But, I'll be spending a week in my home, packing, and saying goodbye for now to my neighborhood.⁠

I plan to be extra cautious going anywhere and doing anything outside of my apartment while I'm there. And I don't know how much of the city I will be safe to explore. ⁠
