✨ Hosting is all about balance - a few splurges for the wow factor, and a few smart saves that keep it practical. For my Summer Nights Supper Club, I mixed both to host 16 guests without totally breaking the bank. 💸

🍑Peach Porch Swing Cocktail 🥃

Meet the batch cocktail I served at my Summer Nights Supper Club - peachy, refreshing, and the easiest pitcher recipe for hosting this Labor Day weekend. 🥂

Peach Porch Swing Cocktail (serves 12):
* 3 cups bourbon
* 4 ½ cups peach nectar
* 1 ½ cups lemon juice
* 1 ½ cups simple syrup
* Top with 3 cups club soda
* Garnish with peach slices + mint sprigs

Mix everything but the club soda in a large pitcher and chill until guests arrive. Pour over ice, top with soda, garnish, and enjoy!

✨ Hosting tip: Double the recipe if you’ve got a big crowd - it disappears fast.

Spicy Peach Crostini 🍑

This little appetizer stole the show at my Summer Nights Supper Club, so much that I had to send everyone home with the recipe! 🥂 Perfect for entertaining because you can prep it all ahead and assemble in minutes.

Spicy Peach Crostini
* 1 baguette, sliced + brushed with olive oil
* Crème fraîche
* Red Clay Spicy Peach Marmalade
* Fresh basil (thinly sliced)
* Balsamic glaze (or hot honey for extra heat)
* Maldon flaky salt
Bake baguette slices at 375° for 10 min per side, cool completely. Assemble just before guests arrive — spread crème fraîche, add marmalade, basil, and finish with balsamic glaze or hot honey + flaky salt.

it’s time to plan my next dinner party - the tomato girl summer party was such a hit in real life & on socials!

This year more than ever the “Americana” summer has been trending - while I am not one to follow all of the trends, this is a vibe I can get behind. So for my “summer nights supper club” I wanted to go in a red white & blue direction. This theme would be perfect if you are celebrating big this Labor Day too!

I’m incorporating reds for high summer, and allllll of the gingham picnic pieces as well. Think elevated backyard BBQ. Ever wondered why restaurant tables look so luxe? The secret is LAYERS! I used to throw on a single tablecloth and call it a day, but trust me, the layered approach is a total game-changer.

Layering creates depth, texture and that expensive custom look without the custom price tag. I like to start with a full-length neutral base cloth, then add a contrasting runner or tablecloth. The dimensional effect instantly elevates your setting from “nice dinner” to “wow moment” that guests will actually remember!

One thing I always add to elevate my table setting?

An oversized table cloth as the base layer - this hides the legs & instantly elevates the look of a plastic folding table. I’ve used it to spruce up our al fresco dinners, birthday parties & baby showers!

I learned this trick from @tohavetohost and it has been one of the easiest ways to bring your folding table to life!

Hey friends, We have only been home a couple of days since leaving the island Hope Town in the Abaco, Bahamas. This was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my life… Eric and I never wanted to leave after all of the fun we had. The water is a bright turquoise & the locals are so kind! This was out first trip to the Bahamas, outside of Nassau on a cruise ship, and THIS is the way to visit the Bahamas, hands down! Our family has been visiting for years, so they know the ins & outs of getting there, where to stay, eat & what to do.

In doing my own research I did not come across anything specific to Hope Town, where we wanted to visit. It can be an intimidating process to plan a trip like this, so here are a couple of tips, before I get into my travel guide & outfit recap.
