There’s something about finishing this tree that just feels… peaceful.
A flocked glow in the bedroom, icicles catching the light, the whole space turning quiet and wintry in the best way.
The tree itself is from King of Christmas (p.s. shop their black Friday sale for 40% off!) and every icicle is something I’ve collected… handmade pieces, vintage finds from random thrift stops, a few Amazon sets mixed in. There are over 600 icicles in total, layered one by one until it felt just right. ❄️🧊
Honestly, this might be my favorite tree I’ve ever done. 🤍✨

Unpopular opinion: Maybe the big light just needed a little upgrade…

This beautiful flocked Christmas tree is from King of Christmas. It’s their 7 1/2 foot slim queen. I didn’t get them on pre-lit with flights, but you can order it with lights, if you want. I’ll link the lights that I used.

One of the questions I had asked all the time are what ornaments I used to create my icicle tree, so I’m breaking it down for you again!

I’ve used a different amount of each every single year. And last year probably added close to 100 more than I did the first year. This is one look where more is definitely better but it can get expensive so keep that in mind.

The long icicle ornaments are great to put on the tips of your tree while the short are the perfect size to tuck into your tree. Variation is key!

I love this black and brass battery powered light but I made it even better with this mini white tapered shade!

I love this tiny golden black battery powered table lamp. It’s perfect for dining room. Rooms indoors are out or even on the coffee table like I have a chair. But it’s even better since I found a mini lampshade it looks even more chic and elevated.

Brass, glass, and crystal semi flush chandelier with ribbed and included glass panels. This chic ceiling light fixture looks absolutely perfect against dark brown and moody walls. The size is perfect above a king size bed.

It started as a basic can light and just never matched the room, but now it feels like a luxury hotel suite every time I walk in… a soft glow, the beautiful ribbed glass, the whole thing is such a vibe. But let’s be honest, any glass looks absolutely beautiful against these dark brown painted walls.
