I was filming a segment for WKYC and originally wore a red top. Luckily, I brought this top as a back up because when I showed up the anchor was wearing the exact same red color and it looked too matchy. Btw I’m going to wear this top all summer long. It looks great with jeans or slacks.

We celebrated my mother-in-law‘s birthday in Florida and it was insanely hot! We were supposed to eat dinner outside, so I needed some thing that would hide my sweat. So I opted for a navy dress. I’ve had this one for a few years and love the one shoulder detail. Then they moved our dinner to inside where the air conditioning was on full blast. I’m so glad I packed a coordinating sweater to keep me warm in the AC.

When it rains I get grossed out wearing open toe shoes. Soggy shoes are my Achilles heel (pun intended, lol!) So light colored booties allow me to indulge my quirkiness, and not feel like I’m wearing winter boots in May. Also, I had fun mixing these patterns - stripes and floral for the win!
