Two-piece loungewear sets have officially taken over airport fashion ✈️ After finally trying the trend 🤔 I get the hype, they’re comfy, polished, and perfect for long travel days. ☺️
I’ve now flown in three matching sets from Rhone, SPANX, and Z by Zella to see which ones actually deliver at 30,000 feet. 🛩️

Here’s the breakdown 👇

🛬 Rhone | Polished & Elevated
My absolute favorite. The mock-neck + tailored trouser combo looks like real clothes but feels incredibly soft and stretchy. Chic details, flat waistband (no drawstring), pockets, and major compliments from flight attendants. I’m officially hooked and buying another color.

🛬 SPANX AirEssentials | The OG
The set that started it all. Ultra-light, buttery-soft, and great for travel. While I love the fabric and inclusive sizing (petite length was perfect for my 5'2" frame), the wide half-zip and drawstring waistband just aren’t my personal style.

🛬 Z by Zella | Best Spanx Dupe
Hands down the best AirEssentials dupe I’ve found. Nearly identical fabric at a lower price, plus pockets and a flat waistband. I actually prefer the styling to my Spanx set. Fit note: roomier overall but a slightly smaller waistband.

✨ Final Verdict ✨ After testing all three, here’s how I’d rank them:

🥇 Rhone — Most fashion-forward; comfortable, versatile and so chic!
🥈 Z by Zella — Best value, budget-friendly, flattering silhouette (I prefer it over Spanx), and good in-flight warmth.

🚨 BACK IN STOCK 🚨Our Compass Rose Secret Bra Wallet is officially back! 🎉

Back in 2008, my grandma and I were on our first trip to Europe - a whirlwind 10-day tour. On Day 2, the tour group left us behind at the train station. Our bags, our purses, and even our passports were still on the bus. 😱
We didn’t have phones. We didn’t know the local language. No one at the train station spoke English. Everything inside the station was closed, and we felt completely alone.

By some miracle we caught the Air France office staff right as they were closing. They kindly let us use their phone to call the tour company only to find out:
☑️ The tour director never did a headcount
☑️ They had no idea we were missing
☑️ They refused to come back for us

As we’d never traveled outside of North America this was a terrifying experience, especially for my grandmother. Suddenly, her eyes perked up as she remembered that she’d snuck some money and a credit card inside her SHOE!!! Her forward thinking saved us. We made it to Amsterdam that night, exhausted, shaken, but safe.

From that moment on, I never traveled without a backup. My grandma gave me a tiny bra pouch that came with me around the world and inspired the Compass Rose Secret Bra Wallet.
