Toss, fluff, repeat — typically five or six times on my sofa for throw pillows. I love a mix of solid, floral, plaid or stripe, plus a whimsical, seasonal pillow like this cute, wool pumpkin for fall. Pick the same color tones and mix your fabrics — textured, velvet, linen. My size preference for sofas is 20x20 and lumbar. Use down inserts 1-2 inches larger for a nice fluffy pillow. How gorgeous are these throw blankets for fall?! Both are so soft and cozy!

▫️Add Mixed Architectural Details — Think crown and wall moulding, wainscoting, character grade wood flooring, rustic beams and/or vintage doors.
▫️Mix Refined and Rustic — Pair an elegant, plush velvet sofa with a well-worn, rustic wooden side table.
▫️Elevate Ordinary Details — Use formal design choices in an informal way. i.e. Pair high-end furniture with handmade, artisan pottery.
