Most pediatric experts recommend that parents start sleep training their kids (or in our case, twins) at 4-6 months of age. But do you know WHY they say to wait until then to sleep train? By 4-6 months, infants have probably reached a few important milestones including: 1) they can self-soothe 2) they’ve developed some sort of regular sleep-wake cycle 3) they’ve probably dropped most if not all of their night feedings 4) they likely weigh enough to go all night without feeds (i.e. at least 12-13 pounds). Yesterday, I took a poll about what twin parents wanted to hear about and several people responded with sleep training. In case you haven’t read it before, I’ve linked my blog post in my bio about how our twins slept through the night (7-8 hours) at 4️⃣ months! . . . . . . 📷: @paigewalkerphotography twins twinsofinstagram twinmom twinpregnancy babybump babyboy babygirl mommyandme pregnancy kidsplay babiesofinstagram motherhoodunplugged motherhood bump bumpstyle pregnantlife babybump twiniversity postpartum parenting 2under2 workingmom momswithcameras LTKbump LTKfamily babyshower lovemypbk @potterybarnkids sleeptraining sleepingbaby http://liketk.it/2yems liketkit @liketoknow.it Download the LIKEtoKNOW.it app to shop this pic via screenshot
