Valentine’s Day Conversation Heart Centerpiece 🩷🩵💛 For my Galentine’s Day tablescape, I knew I wanted to make a conversation heart centerpiece. I’ve had inspiration images of these saved for years, and this year I finally made it my mission to create one. I hit my local thrift store where they have an entire aisle of glassware hurricanes and vases. I selected this beautiful fluted pedestal vase and began testing out small bud vases on the surrounding shelves to stably place inside. Then you add your filler (in this case, conversation heart candy) to the space between the two vases. Though I used artificial blooms, this methods enables you to fill the smaller face with water for fresh flowers. I also picked up this scalloped trivet to use as a jar candle plate but borrowed it for my centerpiece here first. All three items cost me $5 total. I already had these faux peonies at home in another vase. The most expensive part of the centerpiece was the candy. And if you’ve even been reticent to buy candy as vase filler because it feels like a waste, adding a small vase inside and simply filling the gap requires far less filler. The more you know!
