✨ It has the TEENIEST hint of shimmer (I still use it on Julian at football so it’s boy approved!) and it even smells subtly like the old fashioned Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil my mom used in the 90’s. 😍👃🏻

MAKEUP PREP SKINCARE : I will allllways throw an eye mask or two in my makeup/skincare bag when I travel. There’s nothing better than a little boost once the vacation starts to drain me. (Andrew loved using a pair, too!)

Next up, I alternate between toners and think I’ll end up repurchasing the Versed one instead of the one I used because it’s a little more mild and I tend to get red, but I NEED a little extra skin clearing and pore shrinking!

Last, always a moisturizer! Sometimes I’ll opt for a moisturizing primer but this Korean serum truly PLUMPS and absorbs perfectly to allow for a smooth makeup application with no residue! (Plus there’s always sales and coupons!) It has hyaluronic acid, peptides, B vitamins, and niacinamide!

This is one product I always have on hand. My favorite foundation is still a little pink for me for the closest shade so neutralizing with a green primer helps so so much! Not to mention the smoothing factor! 😍

Mini Target haul!! 😍

I HAD to get the mini jalepeno chomps for some traveling, they fit perfectly in my small purse and are essential for snacking on the go!

I also snagged the new O&J GEL polish they released in their best selling shade of their regular polish.

Lastly, the PEEL OFF BASE gel polish so I can more quickly and easily change my nail color and possibly get a little mani Monday routine going! 🤙🏼

The immediate and long term hydration this product gives is unreal. It’s soothing but stimulates blood flow, and it’s a favorite when my skin is needing some love - especially after a sunburn!

There’s a reason this moisturizer has so many awards! In fact, I’m going to apply some as a mask right now so it can work its magic before I wipe it away to start makeup. I usually use it overnight or weekend days when I’m just getting things done around the house!

My fave is BACK!! I thought this was discontinued and I would be CRUSHED. 😍 After almost a decade, I finally tried a few new foundations and hated them!

202 is my palest shade, 203 is too pink, and 204 is my tannest shade, so I often custom mix 202 and 204 because I always have them both on hand!

I’m not much of a reader (I’m a visual girl) but this book was recommended to me and it was an emotional rollercoaster for me.

As a former child in the system, group homes and foster homes left me with the wildest emotional roller coaster. So many specific scenarios in this book were almost identical to my own family dynamic and experiences. Just hearing from a child’s perspective, the raw feelings that come with all of the uncertainty was so healing. I cried endlessly, mostly from nostalgia - good and bad.

It may have even inspired me to start writing my own journey down, everyone’s always said I should write a book, and this specific book opened my eyes to how much my stories might actually matter and resonate.

I’m sending this one to my brother, I know he needs it as much as I did!

Yall weren’t kidding about the TheraBreath - I was hesitant to try it because I assumed it would be nasty because it’s so potent but it’s delightful! It’s my favorite morning mouth wash and the crest whitening is another essential.

I first fell in love with the coconut and vanilla because it’s not too sweet and not too warm, but just perfectly balanced.

THEN I smelled the sandalwood and Shea butter, with low expectations, and OMG. 😳 I think scent would be great for a man but it’s also SO wearable. It feels like borrowing a guy’s hoodie for a day. It’s fresh and clean smelling, of course, but it’s a body wash that I think Andrew and I could both end up sharing!

Also, I’m ABSOLUTELY getting that cucumber one for summer!!

Versed skin care is one of the only skin care lines where I can confidently say that I have loved every single product that I’ve tried.

I am the girl that will try a new shampoo and conditioner almost every single time I run out because I’m always on the hunt for something better. I spent the last two years, trying only the most expensive and highly rated products, only to still be feeling like there must be better.

I bought the function of beauty conditioner, a couple of months ago on a whim with hopes said it would help with my curls during summer and immediately fell in love.

I had to restock and get the matching shampoo before a trip because I can’t imagine using anything else now. The product provides so much slip that I am not struggling to comb through my hair in the shower whatsoever and my hair has movement and life back to it again! The smell is bright and citrusy, so refreshing, and I believe they all have the same sent!

The baby hair is around. My face have always been shorter from me frying them off, but I’ve been spoiling my hair and using a hair serum and the amount of regrowth I’ve seen has been so noticeable!

I apply the hair serum around the halo of my face because I also am trying to regrow my face framing layers.

Unfortunately, I had a psoriasis breakout on one side that went into my hairline and did cause some hair loss but thankfully, I have the perfect solution to help it grow back!

Let’s talk TONERS. I stopped using mine for a month to see what happened and my pores were MAD. My nose pores were just filled, no matter how I cleansed, and my cheek pores were wide open. Different toners give different results but I’ve loved all 3 that I’ve tagged. (I use them all on a cotton pad - that’s so important to mention!)

The Versed toner is a little more intense. I do get a little stinging with this one, but it works wonders and is half the price of the others.

The Sand & Sky toner is my favorite. It has mashmallow extract so it’s more soothing, but it also has niacinamide which my skin LOVES. This will give you the glass skin effect. Plus it has Hyaluronic acid so your skin will drink in more of your moisturizer.

The Glow Recipe toner is also more gentle, very similar in many ways to the Sand & Sky toner - but this one is a little more moisturizing.

Whichever you choose, make sure you apply it with a cotton pad. It will help gently exfoliate all the gunk. Then, just make sure the product fully dries before you move forward onto your next steps.
