Herb dressing:
Blend until smooth:
• 1.5 cups fresh basil
• 1 cup spinach
• 5 garlic cloves
• 1 shallot
• ⅓ cup lemon juice
• ¼ cup olive oil
• ⅓ cup nutritional yeast
• 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
• 1 tsp salt

If you’re like me and a little picky about spending, these are the 10 things I truly think are worth buying.

Kimchi:
Use all organic.
Thinly slice:
3 raw beets (peeled), 1 head green cabbage, 3 Persian cukes, 1 bunch dill, 1 red onion. Salt generously in a large bowl & toss… Let this rest.

Next blend: 1” ginger, 4 garlic cloves, 3 Serrano peppers, 2 Honeycrisp apples (cored), ~2c water, 3 T fish sauce.

Pour the blended mixture over the veggie, mix. Cover with plastic wrap, leave in the bowl on the counter overnight. Place in glass jars the next day (liquid covering, full), and seal jars with lids. Set jars on a tray (in case of overflowing). Burp (gently open and reseal) both AM/PM. Ferment for 3 days on counter (or to taste). Refrigerate.

I’m sharing the 10 things I’m telling all my friends about this week—plus a few fails. I’m an almost-40 mom of four, so I’m always on the hunt for products that actually make life easier. From the easy trick I use so I don’t even need deodorant, to an FDA-approved breast scan with zero radiation, to the simplest way to elevate any outfit—and more.

And on the deodorant situation:
Your sweat doesn't actually stink. There is bacteria that lives/grows in our armpits and then (when our sweat hits it) it emits the smell. So - if you kill the bacteria - no smell. It is wild!

I used to be in the “I just rinse my produce” camp.
Then I wised up and started using vinegar. I was astonished at what came off my fruits and vegetables. Then I realized I could be doing more. So most recently, I switched to this magic wash. The film that comes off of even ORGANIC produce is astounding. Once you switch, you’ll never go back.
