I’m planting a lasagna pot of spring bulbs; that’s when you layer bulbs in one container so they bloom in stages for weeks of color.

This year I used the Citrus Sorbet Daffodil mix that @edenbrothers kindly sent, along with Apeldoorn’s Elite tulips and a hyacinth mix. A little blood meal and good soil go a long way toward strong spring blooms.

Supplies used:
🪴 Large pot with drainage
🌷 Potting mix + blood meal
🌼 Daffodil “Citrus Sorbet Mix” (Eden Brothers)
🌷 Tulips
💜 Hyacinth mix

I’m wearing a small in the Lands End floral top with lace cuffs.. The Gap curvy stride jeans run long; I’m wearing a 27 petite. I got an XS in the belt, which fits sizes 2-4.

Several of the Lands End pieces that I ordered came in, and I wanted to show you what they looked like on. I’m wearing this floral shirt with a beautiful lace cuff detail, and I paired it with a 100% leather braided belt and a pair of wide leg jeans that I got from the Gap. I’m also showing this 100% cotton Christmas sweater with the cutest ruffle detail around the neck. I’m 5'4 and I’m wearing a small in the tops and in the jeans I ordered my normal size 27, but I got a size petite because reviews said that they ran long. They hit right at the top of my shoe.

I recently found The Deep South Cookbook by Southern Living, published in 1976, while thrifting. Inside was a recipe called Harvest Sweet Potato Pie, submitted by Mrs. Shirley Wise of Richmond, Virginia.

I recently purchased these waterproof flameless candles for my outdoor lanterns. They come with a remote control and can be set on a timer. We live in a small town right near the schools, so I set the timers to turn the candles on while the kids are in school traffic. A neighbor recently walked by and said how much her little boy loves seeing them in the morning!
