Christmas Candied Nuts 🎄✨
Sweet, crunchy, cinnamon-sugar candied nuts that are perfect for holiday snacking, gifting, or parties! One of my favorite easy Christmas treats. ❤️

Recipe ⬇️
Ingredients
* 6 cups mixed nuts (I used pecans, mixed and pistachios)
* 2 large egg whites
* 2 tablespoons water
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 1 cup packed light brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, water, and vanilla until frothy.
3. Add the mixed nuts, tossing until evenly coated.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
5. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the nuts and stir until evenly coated.
6. Divide the nuts evenly between the prepared baking sheets, spreading them into a single layer.
7. Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the nuts.
8. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly toasted.
9. Let the nuts cool completely on the baking sheets. They will crisp up as they cool. Break apart any clusters before serving.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Yield: About 6 cups
