Can we normalize Monday morning errand runs when you work from home? 🥰 Rich and I both work from home and one of the things nobody tells you about that life is that you get to decide what your morning looks like. No commute. No rushing out the door with a granola bar and a prayer. 💯 Just you and your person and the whole morning ahead of you before the day begins. So today we made our rounds. @wawa first because most mornings I am home making my own coffee like the responsible adult I am, but today felt like a treat kind of morning and the dragonfruit lemonade and cold brew were calling our names. No regrets‼️ Then we pulled up to @patesfarmmarket because they always have something good going on. Stocked up on the chicken special and then Rich spotted some purple potatoes and I watched his whole face light up. Those are going straight into a bucket in the garden. 😂 And me? I was not leaving without a slice of pound cake. That was never up for debate. Here is what I really want you to take from this. We have full busy lives…Ministry. Business. Kids. Content. All of it running at the same time. But Rich and I have been intentional about not letting the busyness swallow the moments in between. A Monday morning errand run is not a big deal on paper. But doing it with your best friend and just being present before the day kicks in…that is everything‼️ Protect your ordinary moments y’all. Even the Monday ones.
