Every school year, I bring my kids’ teachers a bouquet from my cut flower garden. Mason jars are my favorite vase, and these frog inserts (the metal plate with the criss-cross wires) keep all the stems in place. When gifting flowers, I find it’s very helpful to include a vase with water and flower food. This way, the recipient can enjoy the flowers without having to worry about arranging or feeding them. Tie a pretty ribbon around the jar and you’ll be good to go. Note: flower frogs for mason jars come in regular mouth and wide mouth size.
