Every September, the sun hits my kitchen at an angle that only lasts about two weeks. It catches the edges of the cabinetry and kitchen table and turns the whole room almost amber. My first instinct is always to start pulling down Grannie’s Franciscan Apple and reaching for the heavier pieces, getting everything staged and ready for crisp mornings. Then I catch myself. The Canonsburg Ironstone Gold will still be waiting in the cupboard when fall officially comes. For tonight, I am leaving the stacks right where they are, slicing late tomatoes for supper, and enjoying the in-between light. storykeeperstyle • • • • • • • Vintage Decor | Home Inspiration | Collected Home | Traditional Home | Sentimental Style | Curating Joy | The Sentimental Decorator | Joyful Rituals of Home | Sentimental Home | Homes with a Story thesentimentaldecorator meaningfulhomedecor
