I love finding events like this.

Not because I need more stuff, but because I love meeting passionate people, hearing their stories, and supporting the businesses that make our communities unique.

I spent the day @kuhnhennbrewing company exploring @popupgallerycentral and connecting with local artists and vendors, and bringing home a few treasures along the way. It was one of those events that leaves you feeling inspired long after you leave.

As a content creator, a mom, and someone who is constantly trying to reconnect with herself outside of motherhood, experiences like this fill my cup.

LEVEL 46!!!!!!

I’ve never been someone who gets upset about getting older.

Every birthday feels like another layer of wisdom, growth, healing, and perspective added to my life.

I love the process.
I love who I’m becoming.
And I love the versions of myself I’ve learned to forgive and leave behind.

A new year always feels like a reset for me.

New goals.
New adventures.
New ways to grow.

Last year was beautiful, and honestly, I have a feeling this one will be too.

I started off Level 46 @coldsweat.club in Chesterfield. Over 100-degree heat, followed by plunging into 40-something-degree water, then relaxing under infrared light while questioning every decision that led me there. Shocked by the experience is an understatement. It was intense!

I loved it!

After that, Marco and I did a private yoga class, then I grabbed my favorite seafood salad from @da_francescos

Later that night, I was surprised by some of my cousins who I’m incredibly thankful for. Life changes people and relationships over the years, and somehow they stepped in and filled spaces in my heart I didn’t even realize felt empty.

I ended the night feeling grounded, grateful, loved, and excited for whatever Level 46 has waiting for me.

When you let your toddler vlog the farm trip and somehow the content is better than yours.

I cannot get over his little voice narrating every single thing he saw. The kids have been carrying this camera everywhere lately and honestly it’s been such a fun thing for them. It’s durable enough to survive my house, easy for little kids to use, and they love being able to instantly print their pictures out like a Polaroid.

Bedtime with my youngest has honestly become such a struggle lately.

Ever since Stallone was born, he’s slept with me because… honestly? It was just easier with six kids. But lately he won’t fall asleep unless I fall asleep too, and somehow he’s suddenly outlasting me every night

Months ago, I got on a phone call with the incredible Terry Grahl from Enchanted Makeovers… and what I thought would be a quick conversation turned into HOURS of hearing her heart, her vision, and her mission behind She Is Your Neighbor — an event created to bring awareness, dignity, comfort, and hope to women’s shelters. 🤍

I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it — and I knew Mark would too. So we volunteered to help build walls for the event…

But little did we know, we wouldn’t just be building walls. We’d also be building friendships, community, purpose, and memories we’ll never forget.

I’m so proud of all of us for pulling this off and literally weathering the storm together. But most of all, I’m proud of Terry. She is truly a light in this world, and you can feel the love she pours into every single person around her.

Bedtime with 6 kids is a bit unhinged.

The second I got one kid settled, the others were running around, wrestling, asking for snacks, or suddenly needing “one more thing.” Storytime, always a fail.

Then I came across @ozmoticlearning and honestly… game changer. It projects calming educational videos onto the ceiling and somehow gets my older kids laying quietly together and actually winding down for bed.

Just a casual day… loading 4 kids into the car, heading to urgent care for a tick removal, then straight to a birthday party like nothing happened. Motherhood really turns you into a crisis manager.

And honestly? Ticks are absolutely unhinged this year. I thought the spot on Stallone’s neck was just a scratch for DAYS. Even up close I couldn’t tell because apparently my eyesight left after child number six. It wasn’t until he kept messing with it and I tried to pull at it that I realized… that was not a scab. Immediate full body shiver.

But this is mom life. Someone always has soccer, someone has a party, someone has a random medical issue, and somehow… everybody still needs to get where they need to go. You learn real fast how to roll with the punches and keep it moving.

Thankfully he’s totally fine now, but consider this your reminder to check your kids for ticks because these little demon bugs are out here thriving this year.
