Our church is collecting school supplies for local kids whose families need a little extra support this year. When we heard about it, my husband and I knew we wanted to help. I loved school supply shopping as a kid, and since our daughter isn’t in school yet, this felt like such a sweet way to pour that joy into someone else’s child. We picked up two lists and headed to Walmart to find everything—plus a cute backpack I hope the little girl who receives it will love (I’ll link it in my LTK in case anyone else is looking!). It’s tough shopping for someone you’ve never met, but I just hope she’s likes it. I’m also planning to include a little DIY gift—something handmade to make it extra special—but I’m honestly stumped right now (rare for me 😂).
