I used to think books weren’t for me. Reading was hard growing up, and I never really enjoyed it—but deep down, I always wished I had. So when I was pregnant, I prayed for one simple thing: that our daughter would love books. And God, in His kindness, answered. She fell in love with books all on her own. No pressure, no forcing. Just joy. They’re still her favorite “toy” to this day. Reading to her every day lit a spark in me too. She inspired me to write my own children’s book series just for her—and now, I’m even exploring writing my first adult fiction novel. And for the first time in my life… I’m enjoying reading too.
