Time for a another cocktail hour at home
This week we’re doing cocktail weenies wrapped in bacon, topped with brown sugar and baked. Then brushed with bbq sauce.
And we paired it with a pear ranch water! OMG! I had no idea pear was so delicious!
But I’m obsessed!

A friend told me I needed to try this and she was so right!

This was an easy to put together appetizer and it tastes amazing

Ingredients:
- Pesto
- Burrata
- Arugula
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Bruschetta
- baguette

Directions:
- Slice the bread, drizzle with olive oil and toast
- Place arugula on a plate
- Break open a ball of burrata on top
- Drizzle with pesto, olive oil, and flaky sea salt
- Top with bruschetta (I added this step from my friends recipe)
- serve with sliced bread and enjoy

I had this with a mocktail that was super simple, just 2 ingredients
- Simply Pop Lime Flavored
- Pomegranate juice

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Cherry tomatoes
- Olive oil
- salt, pepper & red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp basil
- 1/4 cup Parmesan grated
- 1/2 burrata cheese ball
- baguette

Directions:
- preheat oven to 425
- in an oven safe dish combine tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, and chopped parsley
- mix and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes
- add the Parmesan, basil, and burrata & mix till all combined
- Slice the bread and toast if you want
- serve with sliced bread and enjoy

I had this with a cranberry jalapeno margarita & Eric had a Raspberry halfday

Cranberry Jalapeno Margarita
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- Juice of one lime
- jalapeño slices

Pour all the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake well & strain over a glass of ice
Garnish with a jalapeno slice

I made this caramel apple dip for our weekly cocktail hour. It’s delicious, but it makes so much that we couldn’t finish it. You definitely want to take this to a Halloween party to share with friends.

You have to try a caramel apple cider mimosa. I made one for our last cocktail hour. It is simple and delicious. The perfect fall drink especially in the south where we want to taste fall but it’s too hot to actually be fall.

Eric - peach iced tea (would be great with a shot of whiskey if you’re wanting alcohol)

The apple cider margarita on my blog

Corn Dip Recipe:
3 ears of fresh corn (1 can)
1 4oz can diced green chilis, drained and rinsed
⅓ cup sour cream
½ cup queso fresco
2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
2 Tbsp red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeno, deseeded & finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp salt

Remove the corn from the cob
Cook the corn in a saute pan until cooked through and slightly brown
While it cooks,add the rest of the ingredients to a bowl
Add the corn and mix well
Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy
