What’s 𝒑𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏’, fam?! Get it, 𝒑𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏’ like 𝒑𝒐𝒑-corn? Was that a little 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒚? I’m done.

When I was asked to collab with @ilovepopsmith, I was so excited because popcorn was one of my staples during pregnancy, and it seems as though that love never went away.

This has to be the best way I’ve eaten popcorn yet, as the popper is made of multiclad stainless steel, it’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and heats perfectly for the most flavorful popcorn I ever did have!

I decided to make a Mexican-inspired snack on this cozy snow day, adding Tajin, crumbled cotija cheese, and some lime juice. Guys—10/10, hands down.

While I’ve definitely minimized my holiday decor this year (because my daughter is quite curious and has to touch everything!), of course I had to add a little holiday cheer in our bathroom!

This pre-lit wreath is part of the Yorkshire Fir 4-piece collection from @kingofchristmas and is set on a timer to illuminate the space at night. It’s such a pretty touch without taking over our very small bathroom.

Tonight’s dinner was a 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏-𝒐𝒖𝒕-𝒕𝒉𝒆-𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆 kinda meal, so I made my eggroll in a bowl, only it was on a plate and over the remainder of a bag of salad greens!

It’s a pretty simple recipe, and I basically used the same sauce recipe as my orange chicken (see that reel for details!).

A quick, simple dinner: 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒔

• After mixing chickpea flour, grated cheese, and S&P, dredge your thinly sliced chicken cutlets and fry in your choice of oil. I always use olive oil—and no, it doesn’t spoil when you cook at a high temp!
• When cutlets are done, place back in frying pan and add your broccoli, a tablespoon of butter, lemon slices, and some white wine. You all know I eyeball this, so add as much, or as little, as your heart desires.
• Let reduce, and then that’s that! Buon appetito, fam!

I almost feel like I close that door and the closet gnomes cause havoc in there. I can’t begin to tell you all how many times a year I clean this out—and to no avail. Finally, I realized that it’s the shoes. That’s the culprit. There are just too many shoes. So, thanks to one of my favorite organizing companies, @spaceaid_official, I think I may have found a solution with these shoe storage boxes! I can’t imagine how difficult this will be to maintain. There’s nothing I look forward to more than summer dishes, and this one is DE-LISH! Thanks to my MIL for introducing this side to me a few weeks back, I have made it every week since! Such an easy recipe that packs such a punch!

Slice your eggplant and zucchini thick-ish. Drizzle with some olive oil and S&P. Grill until tender—but not mushy! While they’re cooking, using a pestle and mortar, make a garlic paste with salt and olive oil, then add in some fresh parsley at the end. When the veggies are done and piping hot, brush on your garlic oil and ta-da!

I have refinished my childhood furniture about 3 or 4 times already, and the only reason I’ve continued to make it work is because it’s made of 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍, solid oak wood. But as I’ve said before, there is constant wear and tear no matter how much sealer I’ve used in the past. So to avoid busting out the paint cans again, I’ve found this amazing spot paint to help keep the chips at bay until we finally pull the plug on this set—which we’re anticipating to be in the next few months. Before giving birth, I nested so hard in preparation for the baby moving into our bedroom that aesthetic was the last thing on my mind. But after she arrived and we saw what we actually needed versus what we anticipated needing, I was able to simplify the bedroom once again and give it the makeover it so desperately needed.

I was so excited to work with @levtexhome on their spring campaign! This is their Alessio Comforter Set in color beige. It is both lightweight and cozy—a perfect choice for the summer months ahead! The damask floral design is subtle, yet is just enough to make a beautiful impact.

Nesting was a really intense time for me, and I’m laughing now in retrospect because I was so intent on getting this nursery done and the baby has yet to sleep in here LOL! Still, I’m glad we established her own space before she arrived because Lord, does this girl have A LOT of stuff!

When I started planning the space, the first element I chose was the wallpaper. I knew I wanted a vintage, neutral print, and @livetteswallpaper had exactly what I wanted. With (a ton of) help from my husband, we put up their your Elegant Toile Pattern Removable Wallpaper in color Mist and Off White.

Now, I have to express one little hiccup we had: Because this is from overseas, we had a teeny issue with the adhesive sticking to our Behr painted walls. So, I used an adhesive spray in some areas to keep from bubbling. However, I was informed that using Zinnser primer prior to application would absolutely keep the wallpaper in place. So, just a note for anyone interested!

Regardless of this little bump in the road, I absolutely LOVE how this wallpaper transformed the space into my dream nursery 😍

As I wrap up some of my nesting—but also, who am I kidding because you never know with my nesting!—I just 𝒉𝒂𝒅 to get new counter stools for the kitchen! This was actually a long time coming because the first set we’d purchased after the kitchen renovation was really starting to fall apart. After all, it’ll be 3 years since we completed that project!

I’d been holding out for a collab, but no such luck. However, I 𝒅𝒊𝒅 score with these beauties from @target! They were 2/$139, so I just had to get two sets (the fourth chair is downstairs for the time being!). They are so comfy and sturdy, but most importantly, I think the baby will approve 🤭

Introducing our sweet 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂’𝒔 nursery 🥹🩷

This has been, hands down, the single greatest design project I’ve ever planned. For so long, I have prayed that this room would become a nursery, and in so many ways, it is a dream come true.

I worked with so many incredible companies to make this vision come to life, and I want to take a moment to share each one (with dedicated posts to follow!):

@frameiteasy: I wanted our favorite keepsake on display, and without pause, I knew which frames I wanted to do these photographs justice. These are the Granby in Antique White, and they are the perfect complement to the space.

@livetteswallpaper: When I first began to imagine the nursery, I knew I wanted a vintage wallpaper that would be timeless for years to come. This is their peel-and-stick Elegant Toile Pattern Removable Wallpaper in Mist and Off-White, and it truly is just as classic as I’d imagined.

@framemymirror: This is the Amelia Gold arched mirror, and I fell in love with the size and shape as soon as I saw it! If it’s one thing I pray for our daughter, it is that she can look upon her reflection and know how loved she will always be.

@levtexbaby: I couldn’t wait for this bedding to arrive! This is their Heritage Blush Velvet 4PC Crib Bedding Set, and it is just as lush and elegant as I’d hoped! Of course, the comforter will not be used for some time, but she will sleep in true luxury when she does!

Making some beautiful changes in our home for our little girl 🥹🩷

You would think after renovating our kitchen, there would be all the necessary storage imaginable, but alas, that is not even remotely true! I knew I was going to need a dedicated space for our daughter’s kitchen necessities, so I decided to start the hunt for a cabinet where I could house all of those needs!
