almost 40 and I've officially found my sideline pants
Weekends in the fall = bleachers, cold coffee, and yelling "GO
GO GO" at a field I can barely see. I want to be comfortable, but I don't want to look like I rolled out of bed. These cargo joggers from American Eagle manage both.
They're soft, the waist is comfy for hours on a metal bench, and they don't swallow a 5'2" frame. Throw on a jean jacket and a good bag, and I'm ready for the game, the grocery store, and dinner after.

okay this one's a splurge, and I'm telling you up front like I always do 💙 I live in the $20–40 range, but this jacket earned it. dark wash, cropped with a drawstring hem so it actually fits at 5'2", and roomy enough to layer over sweaters all fall and winter. it'll be on me every week until spring, so I'm doing the cost-per-wear math and feeling fine about it.
