Tfw I’ll never be 6k miles from home, solo in my 20’s riding my first hot air balloon 😭💛 Y’all already know if there’s a way to cut out the middleman when planning my trips, I’m gonna do it. I linked the EXACT booking I did in my Linktree, so if anyone is planning their own trip to Morocco, you now have a recommendation. For the hot air balloons, we booked it ourselves through @getyourguide. I think we started at 7 AM with pickup from Marrakesh (nearest to our hotel), and the experience included snacks beforehand, the hot air balloon ride, round-trip transportation, a traditional Berber breakfast, and camel rides! We decided to go with this one because it had the extra activities and breakfast, unlike other trips. DO pack some treats for yourself, this will take about 4 hours total. DO wear sunscreen. DO leave your bags at home unless you’re carrying a camera (like me). DO use the bathroom before the camel rides. DO not wear flip flops. DO not wear short skirts.
