🇲🇦 By the end of my stay in the Marrakesh Medina, I had 1 purse, 2 poufs, 2 pillows, perfumes, 2 cups, 3 magnets, 1 painting, and 1 scarf lol. I came to Morocco ready with an almost empty checked bag. Other popular tourist souvenirs include jewelry, rugs, leather, dresses, dishes, tea sets, etc, but you can find almost anything inside the Medina. Plan to spend 2 to 3 days if you want enough time to shop deep and get familiar with the market. Keep in mind that very few things are sold at a fixed price. A good rule of thumb is to start negotiating at about 30-40% of the asking price, compare offers between shops, and remember that market prices can also vary by city, such as in Fez or Chefchaouen.
