Have you ever started something before you knew what you were doing? 😶 Last year I decided I wanted a garden. Instead of taking the sensible route and starting with a few pots, I spent months building the European-inspired brick garden of my dreams! In hindsight, most people would probably learn how to grow a vegetable or two first. 😂 Buttttt that’s never really been my way🤪 I renovated a house before I knew how, I picked up power tools before I knew how, and now I’m learning how to grow food before I know how. Will I accidentally kill a few plants? Probably. 🫠 But I’ve learned that confidence rarely comes before the first step. Most of the time it shows up somewhere in the middle, after you’ve made mistakes, figured things out, and realized you’re more capable than you thought. So here’s to another season of trial and error, learning as I go, and hopefully harvesting something edible along the way. 😂🥕 Because if this house has taught me anything, it’s that you don’t have to be an expert to begin. You just have to be willing to try. 🥹🌱 For my experienced gardeners... what’s the ONE thing you wish you’d known when you first started growing vegetables? 👇✨
