👏 Just because it’s old, doesn’t mean you have to keep it! 🫠 Yep, I removed my vintage cast iron stove… it had to go 🤷♀️ Here’s why: Those 60-year-old electrical components were a literal fire hazard! every time it was plugged in, the entire house would short-circuit and lose power! Nothing is worth risking my family’s safety for, not even vintage pieces. Don’t worry, it’s not gone forever: a lovely lady on Facebook Marketplace is restoring it for her mountain cabin. 🏡💗 Around here, we don’t throw things away, even if we don’t want it, someone else usually does. Being wasteful is never the vibe. And for anyone worried about the giant hole in the wall, fear not! I embraced the space and filled it with candles for the holidays! There’s something about these little flickering flames that makes the space feel magical, cozier than any fire could ever be. 😍 Maybe someday we’ll replace the stove, but for now, I’m loving my candle-filled hole in the wall. Be honest, would you have risked it for the vintage stove, or are my candles starting to grow on you? 👀🕯️✨ ............................................................................
