🤯 @bonesandbuilds reminded me of my first proper DIY project I the other day and I realized that only 1% you were actually here to see it! 🤯 My entryway transformation was controversial for a few reasons, I had never picked up a saw before but I wanted to build a custom closet, I painted over my old slate tile floors andddd I drenched the entire room in black. 👀 Sure some of my decisions may be seen as unusual but every risk I took in this space was worth it imo! I started this room knowing nothing about DIY and came out the other end not only with a space that’s beautiful but that reminds me every day that I am more capable than I know. Now I have a whole page dedicated to that exact message! I want other beginners to trust in their creativity and try something new.
