Vacation starts tomorrow ✈️☀️ and it would be so easy to say *“I’ll just skip today and start again after the trip.”* But that’s exactly the excuse I’m giving up this Lent.

So I showed up for a workout today — not because it had to be perfect, but because consistency matters more than excuses. 💪

Getting a good sweat in before packing the swimsuits and sandals, and honestly it feels *so* much better heading into vacation knowing I kept the promise I made to myself.

Day 24 reminder: you don’t need perfect timing, perfect energy, or perfect motivation. You just need to show up.

Vacation hair prep so it lasts all trip long ✨✈️

The secret to day-before travel hair that still looks amazing when you arrive:

1️⃣ Start with a good heat protectant spray on dry hair. This keeps your hair healthy and helps hold the style.

2️⃣ Curl your hair with a large barrel curling iron, wrapping sections away from your face to create soft, bouncy waves instead of tight curls.

3️⃣ While each curl is still warm, roll it up into Velcro rollers and pin them in place. Let everything cool completely — this step makes the style last *so much longer*.

4️⃣ Once cool, take the rollers out, gently brush through, and finish with a small amount of hair oil on the ends for shine and smoothness.

I always do this the night before a flight so I wake up with volume, soft waves, and hair that still looks good days later 🤍

Trying out a few mascaras that friends & family passed along to me recently and giving you my honest thoughts! 👀✨

I tested Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme, Avon At First Lash, and Benefit They’re Real. Here’s the quick breakdown:

• Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme – I had to build this up with a lot of layers before it looked the way I like. It eventually looked okay, but it took more work than I want from a mascara.

• Avon At First Lash – This one actually looked pretty good right after applying, but I noticed some smudging later on.

• Benefit They’re Real – Probably the best of the three I tried, but I still had some smudging throughout the day.

After testing these, I realized something important… I’m officially a tubing mascara girl. None of these were tubing formulas, and I just don’t think I can go back. Once you’re used to no flakes, no raccoon eyes, and easy removal, it’s hard to settle for anything else. 🙈

Channeling my inner explorer while disneybounding as Jane from Tarzan at Animal Kingdom! This look started with the Natacha Dress by Alexis, a yellow herringbone textured mini with a concealed placket, pleated skirt, and sculptural silhouette that makes such a statement. I styled it with a silk scarf, a safari hat, and my red-bottom Christian Louboutin heels to give the look a little adventurous elegance.
The dress itself is super charming and flattering with a structured shape and standout pattern. Many reviewers mention it runs a bit small in the chest, so sizing up can help if you’re fuller there. I actually went with an extra large for my chest, and it worked great. The poofy back is definitely noticeable—some people find it a little voluminous, but I actually think it adds a fun, unique touch to the overall silhouette.

Today’s workout: Chest + StairMaster and a reminder that discipline shows up long after motivation fades. I didn’t feel like doing it when I started, but I’m always glad I showed up.
Chest day always reminds me that strength is built one rep at a time—same with habits. Showing up consistently, even when it’s not convenient, is where the real growth happens. Finished it off with some time on the StairMaster to keep the heart strong and the mindset stronger. 💪
