I painted these mailboxes for my kids’ bedroom doors! 📬✨

Now they have a special place to leave each other notes, pictures, and little surprises. And my favorite part? I can sneak in letters, treats, and tiny gifts for them to find too. 🥹💛

I love creating things that add a little extra magic to everyday moments, and I have a feeling these mailboxes are going to be filled with memories for years to come.

Make sure you sand the chair first so that your paint sticks best! You can also add a sealant to really make it last 🍒

I used leftover interior paint as well as some acrylic paint for mine!

These clay letters are super easy to make, and they look so cute to display in their room!

Here’s how you can make them!

I made stencils by printing out letters in the font that I liked on plain computer paper. Then I cut those out and use that as a stencil for my clay!

Once you cut out your letters, you are going to take a rolled out piece of clay and place it on top, this is going to give it the bubble effect! Then you use water to smooth out all of the edges until your letters look nice and smooth.

You need to let the clay completely dry before you paint it. Depending upon the thickness of your letters, this can take several days or up to a week!

Once your clay is dry, you go ahead and paint it with whatever design you like! I just used acrylic paint and then I sprayed my letters with a high gloss shine afterward!

I cut command strips to fit the back of my letters and used command strips to adhere them to the wall :) I painted both front and back of the letters that way the command strips would be able to stick to the paint, they don’t stick well to just plain clay!

This was such an easy project! All you need are these felt boards, some fabric and scrap booking supplies!

I wanted mine to look like a quilt so I used different fabric on each square!

I also love that you can add more squares at any time since it’s modular!

Making a table tent is super easy! All you need is a drop cloth, some ribbon, and paint!

I used a 9 x 12 drop cloth, but you will base this off the size of your table! You are going to lay your drop cloth out flat and trim it to fit the dimensions of your table. Then you are going to cut out a square at each corner. If your table is 3 feet tall then you will cut a 3‘ x 3‘ square out of each corner of the drop cloth. This allows the fabric too lay flat when you put it over the table.

Next, you’re going to cut out your windows and your door. Once you have everything cut out, you are either going to use hot glue or stitch witchery to fold over and adhere all of your edges down. This will keep all of your edges from fraying!

You can either use fabric paint or you can mix acrylic paint with fabric medium. Fabric medium keeps your paint from cracking! Once your paint is ready, you are going to paint on your design. I drew my design in pencil first and then painted it.

You are going to use ribbon to tie all of the corners together. You can either cut out a circle to do this or you can use a fabric hole punch. You can also skip this step if you don’t want your corners tied. For the door, I also added ribbon to the top so that the kids could keep their door tied open.

Finally, I added, felt flowers to mine and used Velcro dots to adhere them. I did this so that the kids could pick flowers and put them back on!

Here’s how I made our canvas door shops!
You are going to start by cutting out your canvas fabric. You can go off of your door size or your child’s height! For mine, I did 4 feet x 30 inches.

Next, you are going to cut out your window. Once this is done, you are going to either use hot glue or stitch witchery to fold over all of the edges and adhere them down! This will keep your edges from fraying :) Make sure you do this to the edges inside your window too!

I drew my design with pencil first! You can use fabric paint or acrylic paint that is mixed with fabric medium. Fabric medium keeps your paint from cracking!

For the pocket, I cut out canvas squares and then covered them with fabric. I just used hot glue for this part. Then I hot glued them onto the canvas!

I made their signs using my Cricut, but you could also paint them on!

I put a tension rod at both the top and the bottom. You can just do one at the top, but having one at the bottom keeps your pocket from folding forward!

To create the pocket to slip the tension rod into, I just folded over the canvas and hot glued it down!
