Here’s how I made our canvas door shops! You are going to start by cutting out your canvas fabric. You can go off of your door size or your child’s height! For mine, I did 4 feet x 30 inches. Next, you are going to cut out your window. Once this is done, you are going to either use hot glue or stitch witchery to fold over all of the edges and adhere them down! This will keep your edges from fraying :) Make sure you do this to the edges inside your window too! I drew my design with pencil first! You can use fabric paint or acrylic paint that is mixed with fabric medium. Fabric medium keeps your paint from cracking! For the pocket, I cut out canvas squares and then covered them with fabric. I just used hot glue for this part. Then I hot glued them onto the canvas! I made their signs using my Cricut, but you could also paint them on! I put a tension rod at both the top and the bottom. You can just do one at the top, but having one at the bottom keeps your pocket from folding forward! To create the pocket to slip the tension rod into, I just folded over the canvas and hot glued it down! LTKBaby LTKKids LTKmomlife
