What an upgrade 🙌🏼 These wire shelf toppers made such a difference in this closet—and they were SO easy to put together. They just rest right on top of the existing wire shelves and instantly make the whole space feel more finished. While I was in here, I swapped out his felt baby hangers and bought the same hangers we use in my girls’ room. One small thing that makes laundry day easier: everyone has the same hangers. No sorting or figuring out which ones go where. I also went through the outgrown clothes to pass along to my sister’s baby and reset the hand-me-down system I keep in this closet. For each girl, I keep three bins: TOO BIG — hand-me-downs they’ll grow into TOO SMALL — ready to pass along or move out OUT OF SEASON — things we’ll need again later Eventually, some of it gets moved to our basement storage, but these bins give me a place for quick sorting as we go. Because kids grow SO fast 🥹 and I’d much rather pull out one too-small shirt when I notice it than do a massive closet purge every few months.
