You won’t want to hear this…

…but the truth is, good hair habits aren’t always the fun or glamorous ones. And while hair care is deeply personal, these are the things that have genuinely made the biggest difference for me and I honestly think they’ll help most of you too.

Some of these might feel familiar, but you might not know why they matter, so swipe through the carousel for the full breakdown and save it for later. If anything doesn’t make sense or you want a deeper dive, my DMs are open.

Shower filter
Hello Klean – the one that transformed my hair texture by tackling our charming London hard water. Let me know if you want to see my before and afters

Scalp massage oils & tools
Oils I love: Inde Wild Champi, Mauli Rituals Grow Strong Hair Oil, Reset Invigorating Hair & Scalp Oil
Tools: Nature’s Spell scalp massager + their Flexi Flow brush (a brilliant detangler after massage).

Handle with care
For gentle detangling day-to-day I use the Ziggy hairbrush which is fabulous, and a Wet Brush shower detangler to work conditioner through in the shower.

Moisturising treatments
• Pre-shampoo: Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. The GOAT. No take backs.
• Post-shampoo: FUL London Intensive Moisturising Mask
• Leave-in: Shea Moisture Manuka Honey spray

Heat protection
The non-negotiable step. I rotate between Color Wow Money Mist and GHD Heat Protect Spray – lightweight, effective, and they don’t overload my hair. For something a little thicker, the Olaplex No5 is great.

Everything I can link is in my LTK, so have a browse and let me know if you want a routine tailored to your hair type.

✨ A week of new beauty and trying to restore some balance ✨

I’ve definitely been burning the candle at both ends, and it caught up with me this week… a much-needed reminder to carve out time for myself and rest.

Out & About
My pinch-me moment — attending @meta Festival 2025, selected as one of the UK’s top creators. Such an inspiring day surrounded by brilliant creatives and industry leaders.

Managed to squeeze in reformer at @everybodyreformer (which somehow turned into a solo session with @mollymetcalf 🫶), and finally made it to the @royalballetandopera for The Magic Flute — my first ever performance there, and absolutely breathtaking.

Skincare & Bodycare
– @sachiskin Future Veil Peptide Cream – I’ve been testing this pre-launch, so it’s amazing to finally see it live.
– @clarinsuk Double Serum – 40 years of glow and still one of the best for elasticity.
– @niod Superoxide Dismutase Mist v3 – upgraded formula, even more stabilised and antioxidant-rich.
– @mimetiqueskin Skincare – Space NK exclusive, just arrived and looks so promising.
– @drsamsskincare Flawless Body Cleanser – gentle exfoliating formula for texture and pigmentation.
– @alphahskincare Firming Collagen Repair Cream – that cushiony winter-perfect texture I love.

Makeup
Ordered the new @patricktabeauty Major Dimension palette and finally grabbed the highlighter shade I’ve had my eye on for months — this brand really nails tone and finish.

Wellness
The new @smart_strains probiotics are all about women’s health — live cultures with THE RIGHT STRAINS formulated specifically for vaginal and immune support. Love seeing more evidence-based wellness from @theguthealthdoctor .

Also trying @my_celsius , a wearable launching soon that helps with thermoregulation through menopause — genuinely fascinating tech.

My rotation has been holding auditions.

I am sent mind blowing amounts of products but I don’t switch products for the sake of trying something new, so when I keep reaching for something, it’s usually because it’s held its own against established favourites.

However not all that glitters is gold. 6 are blinders. One was a bit of a damp squib IMO.

A few reasons the top 5 made the cut:

@officialmedik8 EXO-PDRN Prismatic+ : the glow is ridiculous. It combines vegan PDRN with exosome-inspired technology to support skin repair and resilience, and it’s one of the few serums where I noticed a difference almost immediately.

@curel_japanese_skincare Resurfacing Micro Mousse Cleanser: one of the cleverest launches I’ve tried this year. It uses carbonic micro-bubbles instead of acids or scrubs to gently lift away dead skin while protecting your skin barrier. My sensitive, rosacea-prone skin absolutely loves it.

@gatineau_skincare Collagen Expert Hydra Essence Night Recovery: packed with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, and when my skin starts looking like it’s plotting against me, this usually calms everything back down.

@trinnylondon The Elevator: a lightweight peptide cream that sinks in beautifully. I’ve been using it alongside the RoC retinoid stick on my neck and décolletage and really like the combination.

@goldcollagen_uk Forte Ageless: probably the newest addition. It’s definitely not cheap, but when I looked at the formulation I could immediately see where the money has gone. Whether it’s worth that investment is obviously a personal decision, but from an ingredients perspective, I understand the price tag.

@e45_uk Hydrocell Firm Body Cream: newly launched today, but I’ve been lucky enough to have tried it over the last couple of weeks. It sinks in beautifully and actually improves your skin natural hyaluronic acid production, so hydration lasts much longer than your average body cream.

The response to my Long COVID post has honestly been overwhelming.

And if I’m honest, both comforting and deeply saddening at the same time.

Comforting because so many people felt seen and it made me feel much less alone. Sad because so many people are clearly out here trying to drag exhausted bodies through daily life whilst pretending everything is manageable.

The amount of messages from women saying “please tell me what helped” was staggering.

I wish I could give you all one magic answer. One supplement, one treatment, one miracle fix that sorts everything overnight and sends you skipping into the sunset with perfect energy levels, minimal pain and a functioning nervous system, but unfortunately that’s not how it works. Not for Long Covid and certainly not for long term chronic illness in general.

For me, improvement came from lots of small things tackled consistently from multiple angles. While that is less ethereal wellness influencer frolicking in linen and more curled in foetal position waiting for the supplements to kick in, these tips are rooted in my own experience and the clinical data. Don’t get me wrong, my body can still humble me in a heartbeat, but it’s so much better!

The three things I talk about in this video genuinely made the biggest difference for me:
• cognitive rest
• low impact movement
• supplementation (which I’m happy to share a link to if you comment HELP)

But one thing I didn’t mention enough was sleep.

Trying to optimise my sleep changed everything. Magnesium, reducing screen time, proper cognitive rest, less overstimulation, pacing myself better. Once my sleep improved, I noticed the biggest knock-on effect in my pain levels, mood and ability to function day to day.

If you’re dealing with Long COVID, chronic fatigue, burnout, autoimmune illness, perimenopause or any kind of invisible illness, I really hope you know you’re not lazy, weak or failing.

Your body is not giving you a hard time.
It’s having a hard time.

I like my UV exposure the same way I like my smear tests. Short, painless and with an exit strategy.

Look, as someone who spends a lot of time talking about SPF, I know one Instagram post isn’t going to convince everyone to embrace their inner Victorian ghost.

The reality is that many of us have spent decades being told that a tan looks healthy, attractive and desirable. Those beauty standards are deeply ingrained, and habits around sun exposure can be incredibly difficult to change.

What I like about the @ultrasunuk Tan Activator isn’t that it encourages tanning. It’s that it encourages better sun habits.

If you’re someone who enjoys having a tan, this meets you where you are. Rather than chasing hours of unprotected sun exposure, it aims to help you develop colour with less UV exposure, which means less cumulative skin damage and a lower skin cancer risk than repeatedly baking yourself in the name of looking “healthy”.

The key ingredient is Neuroglow, a plant-derived peptide active designed to stimulate melanin production before sun exposure. Laboratory testing showed increased melanin production, while the ingredient was developed to mimic some of the biological responses usually triggered by sunlight.

The formula itself combines SPF protection with tan-activating technology, alongside broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection with SPF50 and PA++++.

Is a tan healthier than your natural skin tone? No.

Is less sun damage better than more sun damage? Absolutely.

And if a product can help people achieve the look they’re after while reducing the amount of UV exposure needed to get there, that’s a harm-reduction approach I can get behind.

The strongest beauty flex isn’t buying it. It’s finishing it.

Finishing products when your job involves testing new beauty launches every week is surprisingly difficult.

Not because the products are bad. Quite the opposite. There are always new serums, SPFs, cleansers and treatments arriving on my doorstep. So when something gets used right down to the last pump, spray or scrape, that tells you far more than a first impression ever could.

In this months post, it’s a mix of products I’ve gone back to repeatedly over the years (because when my skin, scalp or hair decides to throw its toys out of the pram, these are reliable friends) and new launches or discoveries.

Some were sent in PR, some I’ve purchased myself, and several fall into both categories because I liked them enough to spend my own money since or long before they landed in a mailer.

If you’ve got sensitive skin, rosacea, pigmentation concerns, scalp issues, or you’re simply trying to work out what is genuinely worth spending your money on, hopefully this helps.

What have you finished recently that you’d buy again without hesitation?

An ally and proud.

My 2 faves from @yepoda are my faves because they perform.

The Dewy Day Cushion foundation gives that fresh, healthy skin look that K-Beauty does so well, covers enough to even things out, but still lets your skin look like skin. The coverage is flexible depending on how heavy-handed you are with a sponge how many layers you want to do, so I can take you from a sheer skin tint all the way up to a full coverage foundation.

The Mist Have is a must have. As a woman whose rosacea is often not a team-player, I need every step of my routine to be soothing and gentle. It contains hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, ginseng and green tea, so you’re getting more than a quick spritz of water, and the mist itself is beautifully fine. It freshens up makeup, takes the edge off dehydration and gives my skin that healthy, juicy look without feeling sticky or heavy.

But the reason I’m posting about this now, is that your Yepoda are doing something socially conscious and important.

Their limited edition Pride version of The Mist Have isn’t just a different bottle. Every year, profits from sales are donated to LGBTQIA+ organisations across Europe.

At a time when social media seems increasingly flooded with far-right rhetoric, toxic manosphere content and rising levels of homophobia and intolerance, there has probably never been a better time for those of us who aren’t directly affected to be visible allies. Supporting equality shouldn’t be controversial. Human rights shouldn’t be up for debate. 🌈

Heat wave hacks.

If you’re not putting these two in the fridge when the temperatures are soaring, you’re missing a trick. Having a mist in the fridge is a game changer for an instant cooldown, and the rock hydro plus hyaluronic serum stick has a cooling effect even if you don’t refrigerate, so sticking it next to your cold beers is only going to augment the result. Heavenly.

I am absolutely the target audience for the new @rhode Highlight Milk.

Will I probably try it at some point? Yes.

Do I think you need it? Probably not.

One of the things I’ve learned after years of testing beauty products is that a lot of “new” launches are often a clever combination of products many of us already own.

For this look, I mixed the @no7uk Skin Sip (a well known Rhode glazing milk alternative!) with the @sculptedbyaimee Liquid Lights highlighter and ended up with that same fresh, glazed, lit-from-within finish everyone’s talking about.

I’m not saying it’ll be identical, but if you’ve already got a milky toner, liquid highlighter or glowy serum sitting in a drawer somewhere, try playing cosmetic chemist before adding another product to your basket.

Sometimes the best beauty hack isn’t buying something new. It’s remembering what you’ve already paid for.

Shop your stash!

Would you try this, or are you adding the Rhode to basket anyway?

Some products never leave your bathroom cabinet.

Epaderm is one of mine. I prescribed it years ago when I worked in children’s health, and now it’s one of the products we always keep at home.

I’ve used it myself, my daughter has used it, and it’s the first thing I reach for whenever dry skin makes an appearance.

I’ve linked it here if you’re looking for a simple, fragrance-free staple that just gets on with the job.

I have KP.
I get ingrown hairs.
I am genetically blessed with enough body hair to qualify as a supporting cast member in a David Attenborough documentary.

The difference is that I feel like I finally nailed a body care routine that works but doesn’t aggravate my sensitive skin.

Keratosis pilaris (or “chicken skin”) is one of the most common skin conditions around, affecting roughly 40% of adults. It’s harmless, but it can make skin feel rough and uneven.

For those of us with deeper skin tones, the bigger frustration is often what comes afterwards. Every inflamed area seems determined to leave behind a little souvenir in the form of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Add coarse, curly or wavy body hair into the mix and you’re more prone to ingrowns, which means more inflammation and therefore more pigmentation. It’s basically the dermatological equivalent of stepping on a Lego and then immediately standing on another

I’ve tried many, many, MANY products that I promised to deliver results, but this is the lineup that has really transformed my skin.

• Gentle chemical exfoliation several times a week with @drsamsskincare Body Cleanser
• Physical exfoliation on KP or pigmented prone areas with @byoma body polish
• Daily moisturising and the @mixafr is fabulous, super affordable, gigantic, and has urea to soften skin
• Religious SPF use on exposed skin
• Consistency bordering on obsession

No miracle. No quick fix. No secret body serum blessed by tears of woodland fairies.

Just boring habits repeated often enough that they eventually start paying dividends.

If you’re a fellow South Asian girlie dealing with KP, pigmentation, strawberry legs, body acne or ingrowns, know that you’re absolutely not alone and your skin isn’t “dirty”, “bad” or in need of being scrubbed into submission.

Some of these are available on Prime Sales too!

Let’s test the theory (•)(•)

I’m using the new Reset Lip collection (my matched combo is Mica and Teal) from @trinnylondon which is very on brand for @trinnywoodall whole approach to beauty (in general really) and what she’s spent 30 years doing; making women of all ages, shapes, sizes and colours feeling their best, most confident, sexy selves.

This is makeup which works over time to give you plumped, healthy lips. The combo is a lip liner with a non sticky lip oil. The oil contains pro-collagen peptides to smooth lip lines and portulaca pilosa extract which doubles natural hyaluronic acid for long-term hydration.

The finish is super flattering and easy to wear without that super sticky sensation, which is not only blurring midlife lips but actually supporting them over time. As someone with permanently dehydrated lips, I appreciate that!

I think the theory has some strong evidence now, what do you think?

Such lovely comments on this from my Instagram. I’ve linked below some current season equivalents to create this style.

#LTKuk #LTKpetite #LTKstyletip
POV: you finally found a dress that can do day to night AND it’s on sale.

I think one of the best style lessons I’ve learnt in my late 30s is that the right dress can save you an entire day of logistics.

This one started at the @primark.beauty PRO masterclass with trainers and an oversized denim shirt, came with me to a @dermalogicauk event, then made it all the way to the @revivecollagen event (with the actual real life Mel B) after a very quick change into platforms and a leather jacket.

No emergency outfit change. No agonising over my wardrobe wondering how I was going to figure out a full fit change. No hauling a second look round London in a bindle like Dick Whittington.

I also love that it actually works on a petite frame without drowning me in fabric or ending an inch from where Freya came out of.

This is the kind of midlife style I want now. Easy, comfortable, flattering and adaptable enough for anything I have in the diary.

Well that was a surprise!

First impressions of the Yepoda Dewy Day Cushion Foundation and I’m so impressed with how this wore throughout the day.

My experience of K beauty cushion foundations has been great on finish, they always seem to hit the right side of dewy, so I wasn’t surprised that this was a smash on the finish front.

However, the coverage and wear were a total pleasant surprise. No additional concealer needed, proper full coverage without feeling heavy and claustrophobic.

I definitely picked a shade that’s a touch too fair and slightly too neutral for me, but the finish itself? Really lovely. Glowy without crossing over into greasy, lightweight on the skin and it sat far better over texture than I expected.

K-beauty cushion foundations really do hit differently for midlife skin.

I fix my make up with just a light layer of Danessa setting spray and a tiny bit of YSL powder through my T-zone. Rest of the routine is tagged below.

I’ve always had a soft spot for cushion foundations anyway. I know I used a brush here because my skin has been extra reactive recently, so I wanted everything freshly cleaned and as hygienic as possible, but normally I do prefer applying cushion foundation with the puff itself. You get that smoother, more even airbrushed finish without little pockets of product sitting on the skin.

Very curious to keep testing this one because the formula feels promising for dry, dehydrated or midlife skin that still wants glow without heaviness.

Have you tried Korean cushion foundations yet or are you still loyal to traditional foundation?

Another day, another screw loose

Schoolgirl crushes and feeling like I was setting homework were not on my 2026 bingo card!

A little on the house renovation today. Our builders have been genuinely brilliant. Efficient, reliable, and just very easy to have in your space which, when you’re living through a full home renovation, makes such a difference. No chasing, no drama, no attitude problems, no dawdling. Just getting on with it politely and a pleasure to have around.

Behind the scenes, the interior design side is moving quickly. Layouts, materials, finishes, all the decisions that turn a 1930s house renovation into an actual home. We’re deep in that phase where moodboards start becoming IRL choices, and I’m very ready to see it all come to life. Part of the benefit of having an architect and interior design led project is knowing all of that is being managed reliably so we can focus on our day jobs.

We’re doing this as a real-life, lived-in renovation. Working, parenting, managing budgets, and trying to make smart decisions on things like storage, layout, and finishes that will last. Not Pinterest perfect, but practical, functional, and hopefully still beautiful.

Also, balancing a home renovation alongside two jobs each and a child should qualify as a second career or at least a gentle pat on the back!

If you want the makeup details, comment MAKEUP and I’ll send everything over.

AD| Pigmentation can be such a confidence thief.

Sometimes the breakout is gone and the mark it leaves behind hangs around far longer. If you deal with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, or those stubborn marks that seem to linger for weeks, you’ll know it can feel like a separate skin battle in its own right.

One thing I’ve learnt is treating breakouts and treating the aftermath are not always the same thing. That was a big part of why this interested me.

As someone with sensitive, reactive skin that is prone to inflammation, I’m cautious about anything targeting pigmentation, but this has slotted in really easily. I also trust @drsamsskincare as a brand enormously, which matters to me.

I’ve been using Brightly Pro for weeks now and I’ve loved that it seems to help minimise post inflammatory hyperpigmentation as it crops up, while supporting a more even-looking skin tone without stressing my sensitive skin.

If pigmentation is something you’re navigating, whether from breakouts, hormones or sun exposure, I’d love to know what has helped you.

AD: An instant pick-me-up!

I don’t think we talk enough about the difference between feeling hydrated and actually staying hydrated. Because as we age, water loss is an increasing issue in our skin. It’s even worse when it’s irritated, because inflammation seems to speed up water loss (hello midlife rosacea and hormone impacts!)

What’s interesting about this is the formulation side. It’s not just one type of hyaluronic acid sitting on the surface. You’ve got multiple molecular weights working at different depths, so you’re not just getting that quick surface plump, you’re actually supporting hydration through the layers of the skin which lasts days (and I mean days!).

Then you’ve got the addition of peptides, which I always look for when my skin is feeling a bit depleted. Hydration is one part of it, but maintaining that bouncy, slightly more resilient look is another.

Also worth saying, because I know someone will ask, it sits really well under makeup and you can use it to breath life back into any areas which are looking a little cakey by 3pm. I roll and pat out and your base has a new lease of life!

If you’re struggling with hydration, this one could be for you!

Available at Boots.

I’m turning 40 this year and I’m not afraid to admit… I don’t fear ageing anymore.

That’s not because I’ve cracked some secret or suddenly feel flawless. It’s more that I’ve stopped seeing ageing as something that’s gone wrong.

My face has changed. My body has changed. My energy, my priorities, my tolerance for nonsense. All of it. And actually, to me, this feels like progress. I feel more me than I ever felt in my 20s.

For years, the narrative was about prevention. Anti-ageing. Fixing things before they happen. And to be honest, much of the beauty industry and society in general still perpetuates this narrative. But what if we didn’t subscribe to it?

What if we instead talked about healthy ageing, ageing how you want, ageing confidently, ageing like a bad ass?

Now I’m much more interested in looking like myself, just well rested, well looked after, with the years of laughter, pain, loss, anxiety and joy all written like a story on my face and body, and proudly so? Ageing well, not ageing backwards.

I still care about skincare. I still enjoy makeup. I like feeling like I have a pep in my step. But it’s coming from a different place. Less pressure, more choice.

Ageing isn’t the problem. The pressure to pretend we’re not, is.

If you’re in this stage too, where you’re starting to see things differently, you’re not alone.

Skiing is proof that humans will pay to make life harder for themselves…

Now while I maintain that choosing to hurl yourself down a mountainside with oversized toothpicks on your feet is a sign of madness, the scenery was stunning. And this merino wool quarter zip jumper from @aspiga was perfect for the yoyo-ing temperatures in the French Alps ski trip.

Cold air, strong sun, bitter nights and occasional (ahem) rosé jackets. Merino wool is an adaptable layer; keeps you warm when the temperature drops, but it doesn’t trap heat when the sun hits AND doesn’t end up stinking the back tits off you. It’s breathable and moisture-wicking, so you can wear it all day without feeling like a clammy mess.

It styles well with everything and doesn’t scream “ski wear”. It just looks like a really good knit. Easy to throw on with leggings, ski trousers, or even denim back home.

What I love about Aspiga is not only the founder Lucy’s passion, but that it’s an independent sustainable clothing brand in the UK that puts its money where its mouth is. Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword.

They’re a B Corp certified fashion brand, which means they’re held to higher standards across environmental impact, supply chain ethics, and how they treat the people making the clothes.

Their materials are ethically sourced, using natural, renewable and certified fibres wherever possible (which is most of the time!).

They also have a pre-loved section and offer repair and rewear options (free within 6 months and otherwise depending on wear), which I wish more brands would do. Such a great way to avoid overconsumption.

They invest in the communities behind their production, supporting education and environmental projects, and working with artisan families in Kenya and India to support local economies.

Yes, it’s an investment. I definitely paused before buying. But when it comes to functional winter clothing and ski layers, I’d rather buy once and wear it for years.

Are you a skier or more like me, there for the views and the snacks?

AD| I’m not trying to look younger. I’m trying to stay stronger for longer.

Over the last six months, @absolutecollagen has become part of how I support my body to keep up with real life. Training, working, parenting, travelling and everything in between.

The changes I’ve noticed haven’t been dramatic overnight results, but steady consistency. My nails are growing faster and feel noticeably stronger, something my nail technician has commented on more than once. My skin feels more resilient, more elastic, and it holds hydration better throughout the day.

What reassured me is that this isn’t guesswork. Absolute Collagen is backed by one of the largest randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials conducted on a collagen supplement, demonstrating improvements in skin elasticity alongside benefits for hair and nails

With 8000mg of type 1 marine collagen plus vitamin C to support absorption, it’s a simple daily step that fits easily into my routine. There are also 2 formats; the powder and the gel so you can integrate it into your life in a way that works for you.

For me, ageing powerfully means supporting strength, skin health and confidence so I can continue living at my optimum, regardless of age.

The perfect pair, and they’re on sale!

These are the most comfortable jeans I have ever purchased, and with @thisiswhistles you get such brilliant quality. Structured without feeling too tight and they have an elasticated waste so there’s stretch depending on the time of the month and food babies!

Thank you @stylewithwisdom for flagging that they have a sale right now, and these are in it!

I’m wearing a size 8 petite length. Styled with a gorgeous previous season jacket from @marksandspencerstyle my trusty @strathberry bag and classic @adidas spezials

Spring isn’t quite here yet… but you can feel it trying.

That first bit of sunshine. The air still cold but lighter somehow. The point where you start thinking about popping coats back in the wardrobe and rotating the lighter layers in again.

This lip combo has become my perfect spring lip.

If you’re also ready for softer makeup and brighter days, watch the video and tell me what you think.

Patrick Ta might have just changed my concealer standards.

I put this to a proper test. Full day in London. School drop off. Work. Reformer. No powder. Just setting spray.

It didn’t crease.
It didn’t cling.
It didn’t settle into fine lines.

For midlife skin, that is not a small thing.

If you’re 35+ and finding your concealer suddenly behaves very differently to how it did at 25, you’re not imagining it. Skin changes. Texture changes. Hormones change. Makeup has to work harder.

This melts in and moves with the skin instead of sitting on top of it. By 3pm it still looked like skin.

Shade matching took a bit of detective work as it’s not on Findation yet. I used the online swatch card and matched it to my existing Patrick Ta foundation shade and it worked perfectly.

There’s also 20% off at Cult Beauty using code LAURAMCB if you’re tempted.

If you like honest makeup reviews tested on real skin, in real life, by a nearly 40 year old who will absolutely tell you if something creases, follow along.

What’s your current concealer doing by mid afternoon?

Hair growth update after 3.5 weeks using the CurrentBody LED Hair Growth Helmet and I honestly wasn’t expecting to notice a difference this quickly.

One of my biggest concerns recently has been increased hair shedding linked to stress, hormones and midlife hair changes. After consistent use, I’m seeing noticeably less shedding when washing and styling my hair, which for me is the first real sign something is working.

This device uses clinically backed LED light therapy designed to support scalp health, stimulate hair follicles and encourage stronger, thicker looking hair over time. Consistency really is key here. I’ve been using it regularly alongside my normal haircare routine and documenting progress as I go.

Still early days, but this is my real time update for anyone researching non invasive hair growth solutions or looking to support thinning hair and hair density at home.

Linked here if you want to read more or follow my progress. Use EVABCB for a 10a% discount on Currentbody devices

Feeling like a full baddie.

This outfit was so out of my comfort zone, but I loved it. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got yesterday on this skirt.

If you’re into spring outfits, elevated occasionwear and chic everyday style, you need to check out the current @phaseeight collection because it is stunning, not least of all the beautiful blue coat from my stories. Absolutely stunning for transitional dressing as we head into Spring.

AD| Hair loss is something I’m talking about openly.

That’s because it’s incredibly common in peri-menopause and androgenic alopecia is something so many of us are navigating in isolation.

I’m trying to be proactive around this, I’m using a multi modal approach to target my hair loss. That’s why I’ve introduced the CurrentBody Hair Growth Helmet into my routine and will be using it daily over the next few months to see how I get on. It’s brand I trust implicitly with the results I’ve had on my face and for hair growth, the evidence is there.

If you’re tempted my discount code EVABCB gets you 10% off but remember, consistency is key! (Link in bio to explore in your own time.)

365 days a year.

Alongside the @decreeskincare light cleanse and @byoma Hydrating Serum, this is my most emptied product of all time.

Morning, evening, between skincare layers, when my skin is feeling dry, tight or sensitive, after microneedling and facial treatments… the list goes on. If you haven’t tried this yet, I honestly don’t know what you’re waiting for.

While the ingredients might not sound particularly unique… ceramides, glycerin and allantoin, for some reason this hydrating mist just works better than any other I’ve tried. Lightweight, fragrance-free, barrier-supporting and PERFECT for my sensitive skin and compromised skin barrier days.

While £19.50 feels steep for 144ml, I would (and have) absolutely pay that for it. But it’s always worth keeping an eye on @bootsuk and @superdrug as it’s sometimes on offer.

Have you tried this one? Comment link and I’ll send you where it’s the best price today (correct at time of posting).

Gone are the days of long lunches and last orders.

Now it’s a face mask, cuppa or bubbles , and a proper catch-up wherever we can fit it in.

Midlife is all about a constant juggling act between Work, Home, Parents and/or children, and hormones just doing the most. But in all that malarkey, it’s really important to grab time where you can to re-energise with friends and loved ones how you can. And an LED face mask doesn’t hurt.

If you’re tempted by the mask, EVAHALO gets you 10% off all @currentbody
