Comment “TRAVEL” and I’ll send you the links to some of our favorite travel-day essentials. Traveling internationally with two littles has taught me that I don’t necessarily need more stuff, I need the right stuff to make getting everybody from point A to point B easier. A few things that earned their keep this travel day: 🧳 The ride-on suitcases we grabbed from @walmart were a WIN navigating @flymco . Let them push when they’re feeling independent and ride when those little legs clock out. Everybody wins. 🎒 Our expandable personal-item bags from @target gave us extra room without adding another suitcase. Travel hack: if you know you’re shopping on vacation, leave room BEFORE you leave home. 🍔 I knew they’d eat a burger, so grabbing @shakeshack before boarding meant I wasn’t gambling on airplane food. ✈️ @flynorse got us across the Atlantic safely and officially kicked off our European adventure. 🍓 We also packed our @vitalpalskids because some parts of our routine were definitely coming with us for these six weeks. 🧳 My brand-new @tbahama suitcase unfortunately did NOT come off the plane looking brand-new. 😭 Travel tip: take a quick picture of your luggage before checking it. It makes documenting damage much easier. 🔗 And the luggage straps from @amazon might be one of my favorite mom travel hacks yet. Connecting our bags together = fewer things to maneuver + one free hand. If you know, YOU KNOW. 🚙 Next up, @alamorentacar handed me the keys to our @peugeot and apparently I thought learning to drive on the other side of the road would be a fun vacation activity. And yes, we have @allianztravelus insurance because six weeks, multiple countries, kids and approximately 4,827 moving parts? I need backup. 😂 Save this for your next family trip + send it to your favorite travel mama. And follow @funwiththejohnsons for family travel tips, hidden gems and the rest of Three Generations.
