I’ve shared this before, but I think it’s worthy of a more permanent home here. I followed the traditional path, attended @smithcollege and @ucl, earned a degree in psychology, and worked for a decade+ directing global corporate communications, PR, marketing, and event planning. While I loved doing all of that, I’ve known since I was a little girl that makeup/beauty was my truest calling.

Today, I can say that each and every experience I’ve had has equipped me to live out my dreams. In the comparatively short time that Glam for Everyone has existed, I’ve been presented with opportunities I never would have otherwise. Stepping away from my previous career and into this new one, I knew which things I wanted to take with me and which to leave behind. I absolutely love, love, love using my mind in new and creative ways, as well as in analytical and critical ways. While being an entrepreneur is hard work, it’s some of the most gratifying work I’ve ever done. Coming from an entrepreneurial family background, it’s no wonder this would eventually become my path. I’m so fortunate to be able to make magic for a living and fill other people’s cups as I fill my own. I’ve been privileged to meet and connect with so many lovely people while traveling all over, and it’s such a joy and a pleasure to be a part of others’ most meaningful life moments. This work is not for the faint of heart, but I was built to do this.

I realized that because my lipsticks were still in their bullets and I couldn’t see the colors, I never reached for them. They just as well may not have been there. After being inspired by @artistkitcompany’s beautiful videos, I thought I’d finally give additional attention to my makeup kit organization, refine my bridal makeup, and give makeup kit condensing a go. This bridal makeup transformation began with three very different inspiration photos. Together, we created a custom look that blended elements from each into an amalgamation perfectly suited to my client’s features, wedding gown, and wedding accessory colors.

My client requested that we deemphasize the roundness of her face, so we used subtle contouring to create a light, softly sculpted effect. We neutralized the red tones and acne in her complexion, then added a flush back with intentionality. To make her eyes appear more open , we applied custom lashes and a touch of lower lash shadow for lift, definition, dimension.

The final result: a fresh, elevated clean girl aesthetic with softly enhanced eyes, a harmonious complexion, and a romantic glow that feels entirely her own. From natural skin with visible redness and acne to a polished soft glam makeup look inspired by her favorite styles—clean girl aesthetic meets a whisper of pink bridal makeup and editorial whimsy.
