I get it, hospital bag packing lists are a dime a dozen! But what about the things you packed and didn’t use? Or more like, things you WISH you had packed and didn’t know you needed?! I’ve tagged some of my favorite products that helped make my labor and recovery experience as comfortable as possible. Things I didn’t readily see on a packing list but were total life-savers! Items such as: giant water bottle with straw (not every hospital provides one! Mine didn’t!), tap nightlight for nursing without having to use the overhead lights, sound machine for baby, your own Depends for better leak control, and laboring essential oils. Lavender for a calming effect during contractions and clary sage to help stimulate contractions. Clary sage has a sedating effect which potentially has a positive impact on reducing adrenaline and aids in oxytocin production! A few drops on a cotton ball (which can be easily removed if not feeling it and thrown away) during labor made a big difference in my experience. And lets not forget a cuteeee momlife bag that can be used long after birth- now taking preorders! You’re going to rock this birth mama! http://liketk.it/2UFpK liketkit LTKbaby @liketoknow.it @liketoknow.it.family From one mom to another, shop my product recommendations from pregnancy and beyond on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app!
