4:30pm at our house used to look like this: Two starving kids. Endless snacking. Zero appetite at dinner. Everyone cranky. 🙃 So I changed one thing. Instead of random snacks, I made an after-school snack tray to encourage the kids to “eat their rainbow.” 🌈 Each color = a different food group. They get it right when we walk in the door (when they’re actually hungry), and suddenly dinner isn’t a battle anymore. Now: ✔️ They’re fueled ✔️ I don’t feel guilty about “snacks” ✔️ Adults eat later while the kids play Comment SHOP and I’ll DM you the link! toddlermealideas kidmeals toddlersnackideas afterschoolsnack LTKHome LTKKids LTKmomlife
