This little bedside moment is exactly why I love putting together curated shopping guides. None of these pieces are especially loud on their own, but together they give a simple nightstand so much more character. I started with a warm wood nightstand and layered in pieces that feel like they could have been collected over time—the pleated brass lamp, moody floral art, patterned bowl, little brass bird canister, vintage-inspired rug and a couple of books underneath. There’s a mix of finishes, pattern and age here, but because everything stays within that warm, muted palette, it still feels calm and really livable. I also made a 3D room rendering to show how the pieces from this guide could actually look once they’re pulled into a bedroom, swipe to see that. I think that extra step makes it so much easier to picture the scale and see how a handful of smaller decor choices can completely change the feeling of a bedside area. Everything is linked here, along with the exact or similar pieces I used to finish the room. LTKHome
