Okay, y’all… I was NOT prepared for this box. ✨ This was such a pinch-me moment for me. @julievos sent me the most beautiful box of jewelry, and I opened it without knowing what was inside—which I think you can probably tell by my reactions.

The earrings might have just become my new everyday pair, the mother-of-pearl pieces are absolutely STUNNING, and then I opened a piece I’ve wanted for the longest time. I mean… COME ON!!! 😍

I love jewelry that makes an outfit feel finished without having to think too hard about it, and these are exactly those kinds of pieces. Beautiful with jeans and a sweater, but just as pretty dressed up—and y’all know I’m always going to love a little dangle and a good toggle clasp.

Thank you, Julie Vos, for absolutely spoiling me. I’m still over here having a pinch-me moment. 💛

Tap ❤️ + comment “MAINE” and I’ll send you the links to everything I’m wearing!

50 minutes to get dressed just to “walk around town.” 😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this.

We’re in Maine for Eric’s work conference, and while he’s working, I’m taking full advantage of getting out and exploring a little. And apparently sightseeing required an entire outfit decision.

But I have to say… this may be one of my favorite easy fall outfits lately. A simple black sweater, wide-leg jeans, pops of leopard with the loafers, and a belt. Comfortable enough for walking around all day but still pulled together enough to make me feel like I tried. And at 56, THAT is pretty much exactly what I want from my clothes.

Are you a 5-minute outfit person or a try on half your closet to “just walk around town” person? 😂

Fall day look in Maine

#LTKootd #LTKSeasonal #LTKOver40

A little peek at real life lately. 🤍

We’re actually in Maine for a work conference, but with the nor’easter headed toward the Northeast, we decided to come in a couple of days early rather than take our chances with travel. We’ve definitely been battling some rain since we got here, but the fall colors did NOT disappoint. 🍁

When Eric travels for his work, he almost always brings his camera. He’ll get up early in the morning, head out and see what he can find while I’m usually still asleep. 😂 This time I’ve tagged along for some of it, and Maine has given him plenty to photograph.

So the last couple of days have been a little rain, a LOT of beautiful fall color, random stops because Eric spotted something he wanted to photograph, me bundled up in more layers than I expected, a few OOTDs because apparently I cannot help myself 😂… and, of course, the turkeys. 🦃

Most of the time when we travel, you see the outfit, the try-on, the conference or the finished reel—but there’s a whole lot of regular life happening in between all of that.

The reality is, I forget to share that part with y’all. 🤍 And honestly, it’s usually some of my favorite stuff.

So here’s a little peek at life on the other side of the camera lately. A couple of extra days in Maine, a whole lot of fall color, and whatever we happened to find along the way. 🍁📸

Okay ladies, the early Prime Big Deal Day deals are starting to pop up! 👀

Prime Big Deal Days are October 6–7, but some of these finds are already on sale, so I wouldn’t wait on the things you’ve had your eye on.

I rounded up a few of my favorite deals in this collage, including some practical finds, some fun finds, and a few things that may accidentally end up in your cart. 😉

What in the Walmart is THIS?! 😳

Y’all… I was just minding my business walking through Walmart and then I found THIS. It’s Scubaknit, it’s SO soft, and those little ruched ties on the sides?! Yes please. 🙌🏼

The top is only $16 and there are matching bottoms too! The shorts I found in store are already getting picked over, BUT online there are several Scubaknit options—including regular shorts and joggers if biker shorts aren’t your thing. And honestly, I love that because you can make the set work for YOU.

This is exactly the kind of comfy set I want for running errands, traveling, lounging… all the things. And it looks way more expensive than Walmart prices.

The Frank & Eileen Patrick Popover Henley has that perfectly relaxed, effortless look that so many women love… but it also comes with a $238 price tag.

So of course I had to go hunting for a more affordable option.

I found a very similar version on Amazon for $37.99, and honestly… it gives the same easy, slightly oversized feel that makes the Frank & Eileen shirts so popular.

Both are cotton, both come in several colors, and both have that timeless pullover look you can wear with jeans, trousers, or layered over tees.

The big question is…
would you splurge or save on this one?

Y’all know I love an expensive-looking outfit… I just don’t always love the expensive price tag. These Amazon matching sets are SO good; comfy like sweats, but elevated enough that I actually feel put together wearing them out of the house.

And the best part? You can get that elevated sweatsuit look without spending a small fortune on it.

I’m 56 years old, 5’8, 135ish lbs, and wearing my true size MEDIUM in both of these matching sets.

I found TWO I love and now I can’t decide… are you picking the lighter one or the gray? 👇🏻

Tell me you graduated high school in the 80s without telling me you graduated high school in the 80s… 😂

Because apparently you can play me approximately two seconds of an 80s song and my brain IMMEDIATELY knows what it is. Meanwhile, ask me why I walked into a room five minutes ago and we may have a problem. 🤣

Y’all, THIS was my music. The songs we got ready to. The songs we drove around listening to. The songs we danced to. And somehow, all these years later, those first few notes come on and the words are STILL in there.

So when I saw this playlist from @djericrhodes, obviously I had to see how I would do.
11 songs. 11 RIGHT.

And I have a feeling some of y’all are going to know every single one too.

So, my fellow 80s girls… how many did YOU get right?! 👇🏼 And tell me what year you graduated because I want to see who’s in here with me!

And thank you @djericrhodes for the playlist and for reminding me that I may forget what I did yesterday, but apparently I will NEVER forget an 80s song.

A little roundup of some of my favorite finds I’ve shared with you this month! ❤️

From my Nutrafol favorite, to Walmart look-for-less finds, to the best blanket I’ve ever purchased, these are the things I’ve been loving, using, and recommending lately.

I know there are SO many things out there, so I always love being able to narrow it down and share the ones that I think are actually worth a look.

If you missed any of these, they’re all worth a scroll. And I have a feeling there are a few here you’re going to love as much as I do! 🛍️

Prime Day is coming! 🛍️

I’m sharing a few early finds now so you can start your wish list before the big sale goes live October 6–7.

I’ve rounded up some practical favorites, things for the home, and a few fun finds that caught my eye. If you’ve been thinking about replacing something or treating yourself to something new, this is a great time to start browsing.

Save this post and check back with me on October 6 and 7. I’ll be sharing the deals I think are worth a look! ❤️

Early morning flight to Maine calls for a comfy @Spanx jumpsuit. Wearing a medium regular length.

Snag this @Spanx jumpsuit while the price is right. I’m in a medium regular length.

I couldn’t resist this tweed jacket and skirt! It has such a classic, Jackie O. kind of feel to it. Polished, timeless, and just the right amount of ladylike without feeling dated. ✨

It’s one of those sets that makes getting dressed feel very easy because the outfit is already done for you. And honestly, it looks far more expensive than it is. A really good find! 👏

#LTKootd #LTKWorkwear #LTKTravel

Y’all… THE necklaces are back. 😍 And somehow I think I love this new version even more.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know these multi-strand necklaces from The Willow Tree were one of my MOST asked-for links last year and into this year. They brought back some of my favorite colors, but changed the design with an adjustable length and a new clasp, and I am OBSESSED. 🙌🏼

And then they went and sent me an entire box of fall things that feel so me. The suede fringe vest is giving me all the western fall vibes, the dark wash jeans are SO soft and stretchy with the best waistband, that brown blouse gives me such a Tuckernuck look for less, and can we talk about the leopard Bermuda shorts?! 🐆

This is exactly why I love The Willow Tree. They just GET IT.

And if you wanted one of those multi-strand necklaces last time and missed it, I would not wait. Y’all always go nuts over these when I wear them.

Honestly, I’m a little speechless over these Walmart pajamas! I’ve bought quite a few pairs now, and I really do love them. They’re soft, comfortable, wash well, and somehow manage to look much more expensive than they are.

If you haven’t tried these yet, definitely take a look. They’re that good.

A few of my recent Amazon finds, and there are some really good ones in this group! 👏 I found a great new pair of jeans, a bubble skirt, a couple of look-for-less pieces including a belt and some mules, plus a few beauty favorites.

I also restocked my favorite hairspray and my go-to sheet masks 😂

Sharing everything here in case you’re in the mood for a little fall shopping. There are some good ones!

#LTKootd #LTKselfcare #LTKSaleAlert

I’ve been finding some really nice handbags at Walmart lately, and these are especially good for fall. 🍂They look polished, they’re practical, and the prices are honestly hard to beat!

I love a good handbag, but I don’t need to spend a fortune on one. These are the kind of bags that look much more expensive than they actually are, and there are some really pretty options in this roundup. 👏

I’ve been finding some really good shoes at Walmart lately, and these are perfect for fall. They’re stylish, comfortable enough to actually wear all day, and the prices are hard to argue with.

I’m always happy to find a pair that looks a little more expensive than it is, especially when my feet agree with me. 😂 I rounded up some of my favorites here, so take a look if you’re looking for a few new shoes for the season.

#LTKootd #LTKSaleAlert #LTKWorkwear

This Walmart dress has NO business being this good for the price. 😍 Honestly, I would guess it cost 3x what it actually does.

The quality? So good. The material? Beautiful. The fit? 👏🏼 And the style is giving expensive, polished, effortless. It’s one of those finds that makes you stop and think, “Wait… THIS is from Walmart?!”

If you’ve been looking for a dress that looks expensive without the expensive price tag, add this one to your list.

Tell me “SPLURGE” or “SAVE” below

The Manolo Blahnik Maysale mules are gorgeous, 100% suede and $950. But when I found this look for less on Amazon for $51, you know I had to compare them.

The Amazon pair is faux suede, so no, we are not pretending they’re the exact same shoe. But the pointed toe, buckle detail, kitten heel and overall look are pretty darn close for an $899 difference.

And here’s something I actually love about the Amazon pair: they come in whole AND half sizes and 6 colors. The Manolos come in 10 colors, but only whole half sizes.

For $51? I’m saving. 😂

This is exactly why I try things on. 😂 On the hanger, I was fully prepared to walk right past this jacket. But ON?? Completely different story. Total YES.

The color, the short puff sleeves, the gold zipper, the little tie that cinches the waist...all of it works so much better once it’s actually on your body. And I love that it gives you some shape without feeling too fitted.

This is an item you can wear with dresses (like I have on), jeans, maxi skirts, and denim cutouts. The options are endless.

At this point, I need to admit I have a Walmart addiction 😂 Every time I tell myself I’m done shopping, they drop another new arrival that’s somehow even better than the last one!

These pieces are perfect for the fall, come in multiple colors, and are so affordable. 👏
