Okay, y’all… I was NOT prepared for this box. ✨ This was such a pinch-me moment for me. @julievos sent me the most beautiful box of jewelry, and I opened it without knowing what was inside—which I think you can probably tell by my reactions.

The earrings might have just become my new everyday pair, the mother-of-pearl pieces are absolutely STUNNING, and then I opened a piece I’ve wanted for the longest time. I mean… COME ON!!! 😍

I love jewelry that makes an outfit feel finished without having to think too hard about it, and these are exactly those kinds of pieces. Beautiful with jeans and a sweater, but just as pretty dressed up—and y’all know I’m always going to love a little dangle and a good toggle clasp.

A little peek at real life lately. 🤍

We’re actually in Maine for a work conference, but with the nor’easter headed toward the Northeast, we decided to come in a couple of days early rather than take our chances with travel. We’ve definitely been battling some rain since we got here, but the fall colors did NOT disappoint. 🍁

When Eric travels for his work, he almost always brings his camera. He’ll get up early in the morning, head out and see what he can find while I’m usually still asleep. 😂 This time I’ve tagged along for some of it, and Maine has given him plenty to photograph.

So the last couple of days have been a little rain, a LOT of beautiful fall color, random stops because Eric spotted something he wanted to photograph, me bundled up in more layers than I expected, a few OOTDs because apparently I cannot help myself 😂… and, of course, the turkeys. 🦃

Most of the time when we travel, you see the outfit, the try-on, the conference or the finished reel—but there’s a whole lot of regular life happening in between all of that.

The reality is, I forget to share that part with y’all. 🤍 And honestly, it’s usually some of my favorite stuff.

So here’s a little peek at life on the other side of the camera lately. A couple of extra days in Maine, a whole lot of fall color, and whatever we happened to find along the way. 🍁📸

What in the Walmart is THIS?! 😳

Y’all… I was just minding my business walking through Walmart and then I found THIS. It’s Scubaknit, it’s SO soft, and those little ruched ties on the sides?! Yes please. 🙌🏼

The top is only $16 and there are matching bottoms too! The shorts I found in store are already getting picked over, BUT online there are several Scubaknit options—including regular shorts and joggers if biker shorts aren’t your thing. And honestly, I love that because you can make the set work for YOU.

This is exactly the kind of comfy set I want for running errands, traveling, lounging… all the things. And it looks way more expensive than Walmart prices.

The Frank & Eileen Patrick Popover Henley has that perfectly relaxed, effortless look that so many women love… but it also comes with a $238 price tag.

So of course I had to go hunting for a more affordable option.

I found a very similar version on Amazon for $37.99, and honestly… it gives the same easy, slightly oversized feel that makes the Frank & Eileen shirts so popular.

Both are cotton, both come in several colors, and both have that timeless pullover look you can wear with jeans, trousers, or layered over tees.

Y’all… THE necklaces are back. 😍 And somehow I think I love this new version even more.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know these multi-strand necklaces from The Willow Tree were one of my MOST asked-for links last year and into this year. They brought back some of my favorite colors, but changed the design with an adjustable length and a new clasp, and I am OBSESSED. 🙌🏼

And then they went and sent me an entire box of fall things that feel so me. The suede fringe vest is giving me all the western fall vibes, the dark wash jeans are SO soft and stretchy with the best waistband, that brown blouse gives me such a Tuckernuck look for less, and can we talk about the leopard Bermuda shorts?! 🐆

This is exactly why I love The Willow Tree. They just GET IT.

This Walmart dress has NO business being this good for the price. 😍 Honestly, I would guess it cost 3x what it actually does.

The Manolo Blahnik Maysale mules are gorgeous, 100% suede and $950. But when I found this look for less on Amazon for $51, you know I had to compare them.

The Amazon pair is faux suede, so no, we are not pretending they’re the exact same shoe. But the pointed toe, buckle detail, kitten heel and overall look are pretty darn close for an $899 difference.

And here’s something I actually love about the Amazon pair: they come in whole AND half sizes and 6 colors. The Manolos come in 10 colors, but only whole half sizes.

For $51? I’m saving. 😂

This is exactly why I try things on. 😂 On the hanger, I was fully prepared to walk right past this jacket. But ON?? Completely different story. Total YES.
