🪓BOOK REVIEW🪓 3.5⭐️ This was a great way to start off spooky season! It was such a fun one! Many thanks to @netgalley and @poisonedpenpress for my gifted arc all opinions are my own. Hannah is grieving her late fiancé so when her friend suggests they go on a healing retreat she thinks what could possibly be worse than the grief she feels everyday? Well let’s let the healing tech-free retreat in California enter the group chat. What Hannah thought would be a healing weekend turns out to be a slasher movie in front of her eyes. As time goes on Hannah comes to the conclusion that this retreat is clearly not a safe place but instead a living nightmare. I really enjoyed being inside Hannah’s head. She is a complicated character in the best way. I definitely recommend this one! I did figure out the twist pretty early on but I think a lot of readers will be stumped!
