I love all of this authors books and this one was no different even if this summer will be different! ☀️ I always appreciate how layered Carley Fortune’s storylines are. They pack an emotional punch and cover so many topics all while taking place in a beautiful beach setting. I enjoyed the characters , their story , and their growth. Lucy’s happy place becomes Prince Edward Island. It’s where she feels free , whole , and her heart stays. Five summers ago Lucy has a casual hookup with an islander while she’s on vacation in Prince Edward Island but little does she know is that this casual hookup is actually her best friends brother who she was meeting in Prince Edward Island for the first time. Because Lucy and her best friend live away from the island she had no idea that this mystery man was her best friend’s brother.
