🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧 3⭐️ Thank you @macmillan.audio for the gifted ALC of The Girls Before by Kate Alice Marshall. All opinions are my own. I liked this one but did not overall love it. It was too much of a slow burn for me. After finishing I found myself really confused but I think that it is more of a me problem than a book problem. Sometimes when listening on audio I find myself zoning out if I am not completely hooked from the start. I went into this one really excited to read it because I enjoyed this authors other work. I did not quite connect with the characters and the plot as much as I had anticipated or wanted to. I think a lot of readers are going to love this one unfortunately it just was not my favorite. Some positives of the book was the setting and the atmosphere. I really felt the atmospheric thriller vibe throughout the entire book and even had myself looking over my shoulder a bit or feeling claustrophobic while some of the plot and setting were being described. An atmospheric and twisty thriller/mystery about trauma, secrets, family, and friendship. Multiple missing girls and a prominent family at the heart of what went wrong. Find out how our main character Audrey a search-and-rescue expert uses her skills of survival knowledge of an age old legacy of all of the girls before. ❔last audiobook you listened to❔ alc audiobooks honestreview
