This bag has a really neat backstory— Every fall, I visit Cape Cod with my family, and my dad and I go thrifting! One year, I saw this bag and left without it. I got in the car and couldn’t stop thinking about that bag, so my dad said to just go back and get it! I hustled to the door but it was already locked, and they opened it, asking if I forgot something. I told them I wanted to buy that bag, actually! It was only $25, how could I leave it there?! They had already shut down the registers, but that day happened to be my birthday, and I’d mentioned it in the store while checking out. To my surprise, they gifted me the purse! I sourced it at the Airbnb after to find out it was worth quite a bit! Sadly, the straps broke not too long after, hence why it was donated. I saved for years to get it fixed, and then last month, my friend showed me a custom bag her husband had made for her (it’s Lord of the Rings themed!!) and I figured the lady who made her bag, surely could fix mine? Indeed she could, and for $30! A steal! So, I’ve got my bag back, and I’m so happy to use it again. It’ll be perfect for the summertime 🌞 LTKstorytime
