We love a mom swag moment!

Most days I try my darndest to put on actual clothes and not sweatpants or leggings, but today I needed some breathing room because my legs are so sore from my workout

This exact sweater is from a small online shop called paint and prose.

Well, I try to get productive today. I have mostly ended up nap trapped under the baby ha ha oh well! I’ll take it!

In an effort to keep my Australian shepherds occupied and fighting against each other less, I ordered this slow feeder last week!

My male Aussie picked it up quickly and actually has become very defensive over the slow feeder so much so that I had to separate them haha!

My female Australian Shepherd, she’s taken a little bit longer to figure it out, but that’s OK! That’s the whole point, right?

As I’ve searched and searched for a link to this tee, the ONLY place I’ve found it wad goodwills auction website!

While it’d be easier to ignore the kid’s bathroom, I won’t do that to my guests, or my household, so I make sure it’s clean and tidy, even if it’s a little person who needs to come clean up their mess!

Being crunchy, I’ve learned that I won’t spend $$$ on body care that’ll just end up poured into the bathtub, so I’ve really liked Native lately!

It’s fairly clean, enough for the little bodies I love, without forsaking my wallet!

If it ends up dumped into the most insane bubble bath, I won’t cry *too* hard!

They’re sturdy and that puts my mind at ease with all the little people in my home!

I’m sure it’s not hard for you to believe that my love for books extends into the kitchen too!

Over the past few years as I have thrown in my role as a modern homemaker, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting creative in the kitchen!

Usually for my Christmas or birthday, I will ask for a new cookbook (used or Thrifted for extra points)

I even have a friend who recently finished chef school, who was letting me borrow two of her cookbooks to test out a few recipes before I buy the book for myself.

Well, some seasons of my life I am able to put together a really fun meal for my husband and children, other nights look like macaroni and cheese and beef!

I do my best to not make the kitchen. Wait for my Littles to grow up before I utilize it to the best of its ability!

Someday, I’d love to pass these hooks down to my own kiddos with them ear marked, grease stained and all!

So in order to do that, I better get cooking!

One of my husband and I’s best friends invited us to sit at his table at a local fundraiser (my hubby’s the one holding the baby!).

We love going out to support our community, and that night proved no exception!

The theme was Cowboy & Texas, and the night before I grabbed this dress from the pile of goods at my friend groups’ clothes swap!

So that means it was FREEEEE! Eep!

A while back I shared about a really cute high chair I bought for our 14 month old daughter, that I was excited about!

Unfortunately, it wasn’t great quality nor functional for our baby.

She has cerebral palsy, and we’ve been on the hunt for a highchair that’d be ergonomically correct as well as supportive enough for her.

While researching high chairs, this option was recommended, and the same week, this exact high chair popped up on Facebook marketplace near me!

For $50, I figured it was worth the shot, and thankfully it was a success!

It is not only stylish, but she is very supported in it, and has a footrest!

I found this pad on Amazon, it’s made for the other IKEA highchair, but it’s working just fine in this model, luckily!

I’m so grateful! Learning to be a high needs mom has been wrecking me, stretching me, and growing me on all fronts.

Who’d have every thought I’d become so grateful for something as simple as a high chair?

I have a not so Secret fitness goal. I have been working towards over the past year that I am five weeks away from accomplishing!

I’ve put in a lot of hours at the gym to get to this place.

Early mornings and late nights have been on my schedule day in and day out.

One of my favorite ways to get cardio is on a incline treadmill! I usually set up my Kindle or a YouTube and get to walk in! It helps the time pass much faster.

I’ve had this juicer for nearly 5 years, and I’m only just now trying the sorbet attachment!

Truth be told, I kept forgetting I had it!

I have been craving frozen yogurt and ice cream like mad this week, but it’s a strict no-go at this moment in time *que tears*.

I made a strawberry, blueberry sorbet! Yum! Can’t wait to pair it with some sugar-free yogurt and make a super delicious breakfast bowl out of it tomorrow!

It’s that time of year! Time to get the tower garden together in the summer harvest in the soil 😊

My little gardeners are great helpers. Mom hacked for you, if you need to keep your kids occupied, give them water, dirt or sunshine!

In this garden, I’ve got a blueberry plant strawberry plant some wild blackberries we found at the edge of the fence, sweet bell peppers, jalapeños, Tabasco peppers, and flowers to attract pollinators, like birds and bees!

I can’t wait to see what grows and thrives and what goodies we will have as the weather gets warmer

This bag has a really neat backstory—
Every fall, I visit Cape Cod with my family, and my dad and I go thrifting!

One year, I saw this bag and left without it. I got in the car and couldn’t stop thinking about that bag, so my dad said to just go back and get it!

I hustled to the door but it was already locked, and they opened it, asking if I forgot something. I told them I wanted to buy that bag, actually!

It was only $25, how could I leave it there?!

They had already shut down the registers, but that day happened to be my birthday, and I’d mentioned it in the store while checking out.

To my surprise, they gifted me the purse! I sourced it at the Airbnb after to find out it was worth quite a bit!

Sadly, the straps broke not too long after, hence why it was donated.

I saved for years to get it fixed, and then last month, my friend showed me a custom bag her husband had made for her (it’s Lord of the Rings themed!!) and I figured the lady who made her bag, surely could fix mine?

Indeed she could, and for $30! A steal!

So, I’ve got my bag back, and I’m so happy to use it again.

It’ll be perfect for the summertime 🌞

Make my new #compost bin with me in 1 minute!

I’m addicted to composting honestly. Knowing that it helps the landfills and therefore the environment in a small way encourages me to keep it going!

I’ve used cardboard boxes, plastic bins, and just a giant pile, but I know this in will help keep insects and odor away the best, and with it being able to spin, it’ll break down really, really well!

Where are my other composters at?! Have any other hacks and tips I should know?

Don’t mind my unfinished playroom, but we are still thoroughly enjoying our small projector over over here!

Especially since we don’t have a television anymore. This projector comes for Saturday movie days and homeschool education shows! It is very compact and the best part is that you just log into your subscription site of your choosing that is already uploaded into the projector software, plug it in and go!

The clarity is quite superb for such a compact item, and while sometimes we do like the movies to be screaming in her ears, we can always connect it to our Bluetooth speaker to make it louder!

Fun fact about me, my husband and I run a small Homestead here in East Texas and raise Australian shepherds!

My husband and I have both read the book “living with the monks,” by Jesse Itzler, but I never really realized that the monks actually had a training book about raising a puppy!

This book is supposed to be breeder gold when it comes to raising your puppies! We’ve been loosely training our puppies up until now, but tomorrow the real work begins!

While traveling to Colorado, I just had to stop in at this cute little Pilates studio in the little town we were staying at.

I’ve been on a weight loss journey the past year, and I have wanted to try Pilates so bad for so long, but I usually never have the time!

Now, I am definitely about to make the time because I had so much fun of this class in the next day my core was on fire!

Pilates girly, weigh in and tell me everything I need to know about this form of exercise! I bought these socks at the studio and they seemed to get the job done! I need to source them online!

I’m not sure if there’s anyone else out there like me that experiences tummy upset when traveling or flying, especially at high altitudes!

I almost always get dehydrated. Anytime I fly on an airplane and have learned to pack electrolyte packs and drink them constantly while I’m flying and for the couple days after.
