Day 286 of injury recovery… but today we celebrate. After three weeks of insanely cold, windy weather, we finally got above freezing — so I headed straight to Western Regional Park for a snowy winter walk. 95% of the trails were open 🙌 Snow-covered. Quiet. Absolutely gorgeous. I started my outdoor walk and immediately saw deer grazing. I turned off Map My Walk to film them… …and forgot to turn it back on. Lost about a mile 😂 When I checked the walking map later, it showed a perfectly straight line from stop to start. Apparently I teleported. Totally worth it. Sometimes walking for fitness looks like tracking your miles. Sometimes it looks like stopping for deer in the snow. midlifelifestyle womenover40fitness injuryrecoveryjourney winterwalk walkingforhealth LTKfitnessgoals LTKdayinmylife
