Isle Royale National Park — an island in the middle of Lake Superior and one of the most remote, least visited national parks in the Lower 48. There are no roads or cars, and it’s only accessible by ferry or seaplane. We did a 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip, covering 21 miles and staying at backcountry campsites along the way. It’s a park that takes more effort to reach—but totally worth it if you want a unique, off-the-grid experience. Below is all of our gear we used as first time backpackers! We did get items like our packs used to cut costs and opted for a lot of Amazon items LTKTravel LTKActive LTKvlog
