Because this dining and living area share one space, we wanted them to feel connected without looking identical. The coordinating color palette, hardware finish, window treatments, and styling helped establish that connection, but the plaid wall was where we had a little more fun. We wanted the dining room accent wall to feel less expected, and plaid felt like a natural fit for the farmhouse style. We then mirrored the same treatment above the fireplace, creating a visual thread between the two areas while giving each one its own character. LTKHome
