Delicate fabric. Dominant presence. This was such a fun editorial to shoot — and while it will be published soon, I couldn’t wait to share a little BTS. I met the designer, Lorena, last year and she is truly such a delight — inspiring, intentional, and creatively bold. Her pieces embody an ultra-feminine softness, but she envisioned a powerful contrast. In her words: “strong, almost unsafe posing that leans masculine.” I loved that tension. The push and pull between delicate silhouettes and grounded, assertive energy. She also encouraged me to incorporate dance-like movement, which made the entire experience feel alive and instinctual. One of my favorite parts of modeling is the ability to embody different personas. I love leaning fully into whatever mood the story calls for — because why not explore the edges and see what kind of magic unfolds?
